Sewing materials.

I haven't found suede or crushed panne in my area. What material is next in the line to use for sewing?

I use felt. I know it's not very durable but it's cheap.

I found some crush panne at wal-mart but they only had black. I've looked for suede but I've had no luck.

ultrasuede light is what most of the pros use to stitch their 32's
crushed panne is also good for sandbags
you can also use types of microsuede for sandbags

Here's some good stitching fabric:

Crushed Panne (Which is already now out of the questions as you can't get any one of these)

Ultrasuede Light (also known as facile in other places. Very, very thin suede, what majority of the stitchers use for 32's)

That's all I tend to use also. If you're not good with stitching, use an old shirt. Then when you're really good, switch to facile or use crushed panne for 4 panel sand bags....

i thought one ur new years resalutions was to stop makeing so many pointless posts?

i have tryed many matirals, i have found that useing something thin, and not so * stringy* stringy as in dont peel slowly apparte, you can cut it and it hols the shape of what u cut. and matiral thats thin and dose this you can stitch with to just practice, my not play well but i dobt any of ur first bags will. So T shirts, they usaly are stringy cotten. i wouldnt use one altho i have. other then that your best bet is to just order some fabric of the internet. < i think thats what 80% of ppl do..

yeah. from what I know, it's pretty much just two slabs of leather sewed together like a bseball...I don't know but that's the oldest I saw.
