Good luck bu tlet me just point out that while you're griping about not hitting three 5 adds or 4 adds in a row, I'm still struggling with even 3 adds so consider yourself lucky. But don't get lazy. School your ass off and later, maybe both your legs...

Woot!! Yesterday my i can't do anything streak ended.

I hit these things:
-Pdx drifter> guiltless run. First time ever hitting pdx drifter in a run besides tiltless
-Park>pdx m>dim>pdx m> rpt
I want to replace the pdx m with blur soon
-Blurry Drifter rolled off foot
-Many long guiltless runs

Unfortunately no swirl or reverse swirl yet.
Also, my best friend now has lavers and a sandman, and is htting basic twos and threes His best trick is plo. Yeah!!! He's coming to Chilly Philly if at all possible.

Most of my guiltless runs are shuffle-ful, with no cool all downtime tricks

Today i will change that by hitting: Torque midrun, dlo bsos, drifter>drifter>run, and alot of ducks. Plus i'll work on eggbeater. Cool. I will update after my sesh.

Ahhh!! I forgot about the ducks, so i didn't do those, but i hit my drifter b2b to run, and torgue midrun, and started a run with ss toe dlo on both sides. I'm happy.

Woo!!!

I LOVE FOOTBAG!!!!!!!!!

and I'll love it even more once i find my lonn. I loved that bag. :(

If I go to chilly Philly, i'm totally entering the intermediate shred30 if its happening.

WOO!!!!!!!!!

I had a pretty good Christmas this year. I got a lot of footbag-related stuff, a green and purple bag from James Hermey that is really small and heavy, an Abshire mini on the way, shred shorts and the Champion's League. I also got alll the Queen greatest hits CD's that was pretty awesome.

I just finished modding my new lavers. I now have normal old China Lavers, no more Milleniums. I took out the canvas on the toe, and the tongue always was creeping forward whenever i walked. So i stitched and glued them up to stop them from moving, and the glue is still drying so I don't know if my solution will work or not. Does anyone else have this problem with their lavers?

After recieving my Hermey bag, and seeing Johnny Suderman improve on sewing 32's so quickly, I've decided that I'm gonna get serious about stitching footbags, 32 panels, no more 12 panel things. I have all the facile I need, and now i need to refine my technique and find a quality filler.

I am not going to Chilly Philly, and that really pisses me off, but I'd have only been able to stay one day, which means i would've been in the car for 8 hours that day for about 4 hours of shred. I would've done it, but my parents didn't want to.

I just hit ripwalk bsos about three minutes before typing this.

I want to go to worlds next year, but i can't.

I want to get better at footbag, but then I'll have to actually skool, and that is not very fun for me. I need to find a way to improve while having fun, but drills and repitition is boring to me.

Oh well, I going to see if I can do some drills anyway

-atw 10 consecutive both sides both ways
-mirage>leg x5
-mirage>pixie x5
-butter>px. mirage x5
-osis x10 My osi suck hard
-drifter>mirage
-drifter>torque
-smear>plo
-toe dlo>pixie

There. Let's see if I can manage that. An update will come soon.

I had to pack for my trip, so I never got around to that last session, but I will most likely have one today, so I will update after that.

My consistency sucks. I'm making a records list of all my moves, and every day, I have to break at least one record. Also, i'm going to make a lot of records today, because I've never done this before

Here are my current ones, off the top of my head:
-115 toe stalls
-23 clippers
-36 strong mirage
-13 flip mirage
-31 inside stalls
-17 legovers (soo lame it hurts :( )
-3 pickups
-28 pixies
-2 PLO's
-2 strong DLO's
-2 drifter
-2 strong torque
-17 butterflies
-2 strong smear
-2 ducking clipper

Pretty lame records. Like I said, my consistency sucks. I think the records
I am most likely to break are my smears, butterflies or pickups.

Have a good day and happy new year.

PS- my hermey is really pretty. buy one.

some thoughts:
1. i dont like my blog. from now on I'm posting stories and cool stuff, and not just what i hit
2. it's hard to switch from milleniums to china lavers
3. my style looks pretty cool now.
4. I can flip step and flip pixie. yay!
5. my abshire still hasn't come
6. my lonn bag is really nice right now

I'm kinda on the track of becoming a pixie/stepping robot right now. My strings are kinda like BOP's + dimwalks, smears, plos and ripwalks and a couple drifters sometimes. I want to learn dlo's better, and learn eggbeaters. that means i have to consistisize my illusions.

My new goal is drifter-torque-rpt. I think drifters and torques are the coolest moves ever.

I don't see why i like my mills more than my lavers. they have the same size toe area, but i always miss toe stalls on my lavers. The clipper is bigger on lavers, and they are lighter. Maybe its cuz my lavers are still kinda big. My mills are size 8 and my lavers are size 8.5. By the way. my mills are all colorful now. the mesh is all black, and the soles and laces are green. theyre over a year old now so they're really hardcore.

bye.

Hey. If a mod could change this to "Nathan's Footblog", that'd be rad.

I just had a session and hit about a 15+ guiltless run. It felt good. My flip pixie is coming along well. i hit megallan>plo both sides, and i couldn't tell which side was easier. Soon i hope i won't have a flipside.

I wanna really suprise people at the next tournament I go to, so I'm gonna be schooling hard as soonas the basketball season ends on February 10.

I hit swirl a couple times today, but they weren't pretty.

I can sew 32's pretty well now. They last couple times i tried, i just quit after getting the bag halfways done, because i was so frustrated. I kept going on this one, and it looks really good. I already posted the pic in the new footbags thread, but here it is

Image

From left to right it goes, hermey, mini abshire, mine, lonn, abshire, hermey.

From now on i'm taking a pic of every32 i sew and posting in here. I hope you guys (those of you who ever actually read my ramblings
 ) can see some improvement over time.

later, nathan

Wooo. Good sesh.

Pdx Drifter bsos
drifeter>drifter midrun
swirl many times, but not sealed with a run
pixie gyro toe
toe gyro mirage
toe mobius... off my foot twice. i know I'm gonna hit it soon.

I made another bag. I'm finally sending one off to Kobus for winning "footbag trivia version 2" (yeah its been awhile...)

I'm also sending two to Splint in exchange for a t-shirt. The second one is one panel from being finished.

I really hope i can go to more than one tourney this year. So far i have been to Funtastiks 03 and 04, and thats all. Im gonna see if i can go to east coasts and maybe the one in new paltz if its being held again.

My consistency was really good today. I was hitting BOP's like nothing and blurs and dimwalks and drifters were easy too. Also, it was my first real session with my old abshire again, and this thing stalls like a dream.

:D I like it.

About 35 grams, 1.5 inches, not broken in.

I can't wait to start another one!

In sadder news, my Lonn broke. Again. I already stitched it back up once, but the material was about as thin as paper, so holes popped up everywhere iI tryed to stitch it up. In the end, i just stitched it back together as well as possible, and then covered up the innards that were showing with a band-aid. This time I'm going to be more careful and make the panel the came out look as professional as possible.

In even sadder news, I can't play footbag. I heard something pop near my ankle last Saturday at basketball practice (thank it's almost over, this season was hell on my feet) Anyway, i then had practice everyday last week except for tuesday and yesterday. I played well on Tueday, and my foot didn't hurt much. Then i played yesterday, and i could barely clipper with my left foot it hurt so bad. Damn it. I played again today, same dilly. Needless to say, both of these session only lasted about 15 minutes. I'll probably be out for about two weeks. The first week I'll have basketball, but I can still manage to play on it. Tee next week I'll most likely just have to rest it.

Oh well. I hope you guys think the bag i made is pretty, even though the picture isn't too swell. By the way, this latest bag, and the black and white one, are both going to Brad Kaplan as donation to CSS6. In exchange, I get a Grateful Shred t-shirt. Yay! I can't wait till i get it. The graphic looks like its super well done in the pictures i've seen, so props to chris holden.
