Rip Off Lavers?

My friend was telling me that a few years back he had got some shoes at Wal-Mart that were rip off Lavers, but shredded almsot as well. He noted they were a bit heavier and thus harder to dex with on some tricks, but that they were good and cheap ($20) all the same. Does anyone have any recolection of these? He said he got them about two years ago, but I'm very interested in this.

Man....I have bought shoes from Wally World before just to save cash and they were shit. They fell apart like out of the box.

People here are big on that sweatshop stuff on the sacks they buy...buying shoes from Wal-Mart is the same thing.

Just go with the Lavers. They are the best. Period.

yo, my last experience with a laver lookalike was a pile of wasted money. If that's about your price range for shoes, you could check on ebay and get some lavers for about the same price. slammadamma! or you could check and see if you have a famous footwear in your area, that store has lavers for $30 in Rochester.

Naw I got a pair of 2nd hand Lavers, it's just I'm curious as to anyone had seen these before.

holy crap good call on famous footwear!! just last night i noticed one about 5 blocks from my house. i read this thread and checked online and it says $35, that's pretty darn cheap for new lavers!!! i'm gonna check out the actual store sometime soon.
edit: looks like they don't have my size, darn.

There are alot of the blue lavers (not making any more) on Ebay right now...like all sizes and for really cheap so head on over.

maybe I'm mistaken but I think Adidas isn't all that um... moral about how they make there shoes either... I think you were trying to say that Adidas didn't use sweatshop labor, and maybe I'm wrong, but I thoght I did...

You are probably right...but the Adidas Rod Lavers are great shoes.
