does anyone know where i can get one? a REAL hippy van?
any help appreciated

p.s. anyone ever have a hippy van? or a friend that had one? post any stories and whatnot about them

you mean a microbus? Dude, you are now officially 38% cooler than before on my book (which makes it cooler than cool but can still be relatively cooler by about 3 percent butit's already cool enoguh to be cool). I'm definetely gonna get one too......but my parents will prolly think I'm a stoner.....

dude, that first one is kinda homophobic langauge. i was kinda looking for something somewhere along the lines of THIS.

those are kinda cool but u cant fit alot of ppl in them u know?

My friend owns a micro bus (What type or model I'm not sure) and the fucking thing is painted like the Scooby Doo bus to a T. I swear to God it is the funniest thing you ever see. You can drive a mile and have 5 people honk and wave at you.

Anyways, we once parked it infront of the main school entrance into the class room buildings one Thursday night and slept in the car. This wasn't a choice idea however, and the car got impounded. My friend is still working on getting it back.

The interior of the van is/was sweet though. He had a stove (Which would make for a sweet fucking car accident), a couch and a little changing area covered off by a shower curtain.

Get one of these vans dude, your entire life will increase by like five points minimum.

By the way, has anyone ever read "The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test "?

It's about how a bunch of Beatniks (including Ken Kesey, Neal Cassady-Hero of "On the Road", and Jerry Garcia along with other Grateful Dead members) bought a old school bus, and drove from San Fransico (I think...) to New York for the Worlds Fair in order for Ken Kesey to promote his new book (Possibly One Flew Over the Kuku's Nest but also possibly Sometimes A Great Notion... I'm really shaky on the details here).

Anyways, basically they just took a bunch of mind altering drugs and dicked around the whole time... And it got me thinking... Wouldn't it be sweet if 10 people got together, pitched in for a old bus of some kind, and just drove around cross country/continent hitting up all the major footbag cities in America. We could create a mobile scene.

Dude, talk about homophobic language the pic of the bus you put up looks pretty homophobic language.

As a bit of a side, anyone here ever met a real hippy? I mean a real hippy? Seems to me that a true hippy wouldn't use such degrading terms as homophobic language to describe things even if they didn't like them.
