The Grey Album

Post by C-Fan »

I first heard about this at Worlds when I was talking to Red and Tu. Apparently some dude mixed The Beatles' White Album with Jay-Z's Black Album together, and made a real good album. One of the songs on this album is on The Champion's League.

But since this album would be impossible to produce because of the rights to all the music, you can only get it on the internet. I was just wondering if anybody heard the whole thing, and if its good. Beyond that... could anybody make and send me a copy?

Spink is my hero; he burned me a copy of the album! :D Listened to it a lot in Wellington, and even had a shred to it. The first 5 tracks are really excellent, then the last few ones are OK or so-so. But its worth getting this album for the good songs, because they are really awesome. Even if you don't like Jay-Z, you may like this album. And music which is good to shred to is always a nice pick up.

Highly recommended. Thanks Spink! :)

I listened to one track and there didn't seem to be much beatles in it... I relize it's a hip hop album, but I got my hopes up... is there any beatles singing in the whole album... just like to know before I download it all, thanks.

They say God lives inside us. If this is true, I hope he likes salmonella. Because that's what he's getting.
