Whoa, that's a pretty subjective call there. Care to hit Blurry Torque > Blurry Torque for me? Or even, what if Blurry Torque replaced Grifter, would it still be easier because it's the same move back to back?
obviously with in reason. nemesis>nemesis is harder than butterfly>pdx mirage. blurry torque>stepping grifter would be way harder in my opinion than blurry torque>blurry torque - even though I think stepping grifter is probably an easier move than blurry torque in general. I'm not sure - it's hard to compare moves. Basically I think that if the moves are of similar difficulty it is better to hit two different moves than the same move on different sides. - something like whirr>grifter>highplains drifter - would have been so much cooler - to me highplains drifter is like a reverse grifter - with both the bag passes infront or behind a leg 1 and half times - so they are pretty similar in difficulty I find - high plains is probably slightly harder - especially considering a move like stepping or blurry grifter is way easier than the high plains equiv.
edit: - I think it's important to consider why the moves are hard. I think the hardest part about grifters is learning the action - I think once you've hit the move once or twice it will become a lot easier - while something like blurry torque has a lot more components - so even when you can hit it midstring - there is still a much higher chance of making a mistake.
