You'll see a few token insides in some super stylee
runs by a select few players, but considering what is
possible, it's practically unexplored territory.
Shucks, I suspected I was kooky for this: my inside stalls are more consistant than my toe stalls right now. Of course, I'm still schooling those toe stalls until they're up to snuff, but whenever I just relax and go for some strings, I hit way more insides (cf. my Footblog). One of my favorite drills right now is consecutive alternating pickups with inside delays. Come to think of it, that's a very likely cause for blender being my first 4add: that the inside stall feels so natural for me, even if crossbody.
But enough about me; back on topic. I like outside stalls since they keep me close to my hacky sack roots, I feel. Plain old rainbows and rainbow stalls are super fun and wicked impressive when they line up right. Further, as the PoCT mentioned above, outside stalls are fun to connect to other stuff, eg. clippers and osii and all his fatwicked dragon-type fun.
My favorite trick is knowing when to pass.

The Japanese guy hit a pretty sweet Atomsmasher using insides in the Sick Trick comp...
That kind of motivated me, and I think I'm gonna try to innovate a little using my insides more in my next Div4 Sick3. I did ATW last time, but this one should be much cooler supposing that I can in fact do it.
Anyways, this thread has inspired me to use more outside stalls. I was skeptical at first but I really agree with what most of you guys are saying.

I also had Chris Holden find a vid I've been meaning to post for like 9 or 10 months now - it has 19 unique double dex toes. I remember there was a thread about double dex toes many, many months ago, but I cannot find it. Does anyone recall the thread?

I'll clarify some more.
I meant that someone would NOT have a chance at being competitive if they came out using an entirely new set of tricks. Like.. flying spinning pinch set back flip or something. It's still clearly difficult and bad ass but it doesn't fit into our formulaic judging system.
I meant more than just style and excecution, every player has drastically different styles, I love that about footbag!
