JAMES RISDEN IS BACK

Post by QuantumBalance »

First of all, this DOES belong in General Footbag. Maybe it belongs in SICK SHREDDERS. So if anyone moves it to kicking circle you are admitting that you are a WUSSY "!(@#!4 and you will earn my dislike

... now that thats out of the way.

My friends, the Great JAMES RISDEN has a COMPUTER NOW!!! HIS AIM IS: ShreddinED

He is a father now OMG!! He has a son named James, James the 4th WHOAAAAAA!!! He works at WalMart :( but we shouldnt hold it against him because you gotta do what you gotta do.

WHOAAA JAMES RISDEN! Hes sorta out of practice but I think if enough people INSTANT MESSAGE him and just say how cool he is and ENCOURAGE him (not PESTER) to get back into footbag that we can make him feel like it would be worth it.

If you don't know who james risden is then download the video FOOTAGE off of the video pages under footbag.org video gallaries by TRUEBALANCE.

Or watch TIME TO JAM.

PETER IRISH + BRYAN FOURNIER + AHREN JIRMIN (LOL) = sort of like james risden... ok yes

goodbye

I don't have time to check each link to make sure it's still alive, but here's some James stuff that Kamil posted a while back. Big ups, K-dizzle.

Yo!
This is awesome that James is back, I've never played with him, but I have heard so many things about him,

About the videos, the first one is ripped from time 2 jam, and the 2nd one is something i put together.

Sorry, I guess I didn't make it clear. That's all Kamil's work there. He gets ALL the credit for it. I just copied the links and put them here.

P.S. You still owe me a beer.

Back on subject... James, welcome back to the wonderful world of the internet. I think everyone's glad you're back.

In Philadelphia I heard such mystical stories told about the legendary James Risden. Somehow I had totally missed out on seeing his beautiful grace before. His style is breathtaking, every trick flows so effortlessly and he floats magically around the bag.

I have ne'er been more impressed.

Thanks so much to Emily for the video links and to Sam for posting this great news!

I can't wait to see new footage of him!

I have never met james, but one of the first five freestyle videos I've ever seen was time 2 jam and I don't know how many times I rewound the tape to watch Risden's scenes. I watched them over and over and over. his style is SOOOOO smooth and yet he busts out difficulty everywhere. I am glad he is getting back into the game.

by the way, it's not sad that he works at wal mart. I am jealous because i am a librarian and hate every minute of it!!!!!!!!! who would have thought I'd be a minimum wage librarian at age 19

The announcement was about James being back online , or is he actually kicking again ?

I'm glad I got to kick with him back when he was busting.
