Classic video thread (9th update: Crappy Webcam Productions)

Post by Muffinman »

Hello.
This thread concept was proposed to me by Bjoern. The idea is that I post a "classic" video (basically something that isn't available anymore) once a week (or two?). Previously posted video will be listed below the most recent to keep a record:

Old school Bethlehem special
(in honour of Dave and Ashley):

Egads, the memories.

A lesson in freestyle (1) was one of the videos that did it for me... symposium madness.

I'm glad this thread has gotten started.

Edit: That isn't the clip I was remembering! Does anyone remember the name of a shortish (less than 2-3 mins I'm sure) clip of Ryan from a couple of years back, it was in a European gym with Ryan doing some crazy symposium runs? I could have swore that was called 'a lesson in freestyle'.

holy crap! I remember hearing that, "...the best thing in the world" at teh end of your Ready or Not video when you first made it. I had no idea the audio was ripped from a separate video. Cool ! :)

Thank you very much for creating this thread Mr. Chan.

The track is a remix done by Aphrodite of a track by the Fugees feat. ... Lauren Hill, I think. Either that or another singer. Dunno how you threw Enya in there since she does celtic music. :-p

Thanks for the vids, though!! Bryan Fournier has suuuch a cool style. His whirl moves are perfection.

Oh, sorry, I meant the non-remixed is my favourite. And the background is Enya, it is not very easy to hear in this short clip though.

The symposium run was from Estonia, I think. I can post those some time, too, but I am quite sure they are somewhere online at the moment. For the best of Ryan Mulroney I suggest ordering Just Shred (old school) from Eric Windsor -- best Ryan out there! (The video is, like, 50% Ryan Mulroney...maybe more).

The short video with Ryan from a couple of years back with all the symposium runs in that gym, was from Denmark. I don't think it's on-line anywhere anymore. We've taken it down from our website a while ago..!
I don't think it had a name..?! -unless we're talking about different videos..! -I think it just said 'Ryan Mulroney' in the beginning and a big '?' at the end... (maybe I'm wrong though..) (and there was actually also a Part 2!)

Okay boys….
The title for that video was called: Ryan Mulroney 11.03.2003 and in the end of the clip there is a big question mark ?
The symposium run was from Estonia, I think.
Lise is right -that particular video was shot in Copenhagen – Denmark – not Estonia!

We had five Ryan videos on our former national website: www.fodpose.dk and they were all shot in our gym here in Copenhagen! I don’t think they are available anywhere as far as I am concerned.

The titles:
1. Ryan Mulroney 11.03.2003
2. Ryan Mulroney in Copenhagen March 2003 (part2)
3. The man is back…
4. Having fun with Ryan Mulroney 26.03.2003
5. No title

Uve Poom is from Estonia and lived in Denmark for 1 year and yes… he is in one of the Ryan videos watching on the sideline.

Nowadays our website is called: http://www.footbagdenmark.dk to avoid confusion. In a nearby future we will launch some special clips with Ryan from his visit in Copenhagen the summer of 2004.

So stay tuned!

Hmm, yah, I knew there were two parts to the vid I remembered. That might be why I was thinking that it was called 'a lesson in freestyle', as those vids came in two parts as well.

In any case, thanks for all the Ryan footage that you folks pointed out. He's probably my favorite player to watch. (Is it just me, or does he DOMINATE champion's league??) I had all of this stuff back in the day, but I had a big time hard drive crash and had to start my shred collection over again.

If that vid isn't still online, maybe it could be one that you post in the future Erik? In any case, this thread has already been hugely rewarding for me. Thanks a bunch!

Hey Chan,
Rumours tell me there once was a link to a Risden video here...
The link has vanished... due to an update?
A nice feature by the way...

Can it be re-found?

Hey Rasmus
There are still two Risden videos linked in the initial post -- all the video posts will be updated there. If you are asking about the RECENT James Risden clip by Eric Reile, that link is here: http://www.footbag.org/media/180/Defend ... iverse.wmv (he has his own thread for the video). There is a running list of all videos I have posted here and the only two Risden clips are currently still online. I hope I've answered your question.

PS: I love your signature -- that's great! George Bush is so the!

Thanks!

Answered, well, maybe... I was talking to Lise (shredette) about a Risden video here (I have checked the top as well, nice work, so has she - said it wasn't there)... I'm pretty sure she wasn't talking about The DOTU (she knows her forums! ;)), so I'm kind of lost: looking a video with Risden which I don't know the name of, but a link should once have been here...

Apparently this video is good too - Lise didn't sound too happy when she found out she didn't have it on her machine!

Thats the James Video that Erik posted at the top, except this one is the full thing ... hence not 7 seconds, but 55 seconds.
