Grateful Shred (tshirt)

Post by Chris Holden »

(Brad) Sorry Chris for hijacking your post, but you don't mind since we're working on this together :D
The poll is just to get an idea for how many of each size I need to have made. The shirts will begin shipping out by January 30th at the latest.

Here is the link for the design of the shirt. It will be a black t-shirt with this design.
http://chrisholden.net/footbag/grateful_shred.jpg

You may go ahead and place orders for the shirt now. They will be offered until February 15th. Once again this is a fundraising effort for the CSS6 and all proceeds from the sale of the shirt will go toward the event.

Ordering information:
T-shirt = $20 (US) plus $2.50 (US) for shipping within the United States or Canada. If you are outside the US or Canada please contact me and I will be happy to check shipping costs to your location.

Please send Check or Money Order (payable to Bradley Kaplan at:

Brad Kaplan
1307 Dexter St.
Broomfield, CO. 80020

Make sure to include your return address info and shirt size along with your payment.
My Phone # is 303-466-1713
If you wish to use Paypal you can send an e-mail to [email protected] (my wife) and she will send you an invoice through paypal.

Here's a tshirt idea Brad came up with, I lined/colored this out in ~2hours, so this is first pass. I have some lines and other things to clean up, anyway, check it out:

That looks pretty awsome, I like how even though the bag is 2 colors the sides are still oposite, if that makes sense... Are you actually planning on making a shirt that someone like me could buy, or is it just an idea?

Now that's cool.

Kinda combines freestyle spirit with the hippie hackysack spirit :)

I'm aware that many of the younger folks here might not
realize the reference to Grateful Dead,
so here's the original:

that is fuckin awesome. I want one

I think I'd prefer my pents all one color and hexes all one color. but that's just a minor detail. what a great shirt.

Yeah seriously, nice looking shirt. I disagree with Matt because if the pent's were all blue and hex's were all red, it would be too much red. And then the red/blue outside the skull would look funky. Plus the left and right side of the brain being different works, I think. I really like it the way it is.

My personal feeling is that it's fucking awesome. When I asked Chris to put it together I didn't expect him to do such an amazing job with it. the colors are perfect and keep as true to the original artwork as possible while still giving it great variation.

We will be having these shirts made and selling them. The proceeds will go directly to helping fund CSS6. I am looking into different printers, but I hope to have the shirts available within the next week or two.

Thanks for the great response everyone.

I believe the plan is to have these for sale (online) before CSS, to help fund the event, and will likely be for sale at CSS. Right now, this is all up to Brad, he's the mastermind. I imagine we'll be selling them online before and after CSS.

Thanks for the chuckle, Commodore, let me make a variant for you that also has green. This want you can not like all the primary colors. </sarcasm> :P

Chris is correct. These shirts will be available before CSS6 to help fund the event. I am looking into getting them made as I type this. The person I was going to go through wanted a little too much to make it worth selling as a fundraising effort. I am actually conferring with another screen printer who will have answered all of my questions by tonight and the shirts should be done by next week.

Where/how are you selling it?
I'd love to get one but I'm in Australia.
