Man that sounds pretty cool, it's fun going on those church retreat things... plus it's a good time to shred with some new people. oh and about sets, a pixie set just means you do the dex while the bag is going up... then after it starts coming down you can do some other move. You don't really need to worry about them until you can pixie well though. Hope that explains it.

bioterror. . . that'd be a good name for a trick. Neo symposium eggbeater. . . Don't know if that's possible or if it has a name but it should have a cool name like bioterror. Ok I'm done. Sorry.

WORST SHRED DAY OF MY SHRED LIFE!

Every single stall I dropped! Probably 8/10 I dropped. I am so pissed. I thought of it as a school day to learn new stuff but every single kick and trick I tried just wouldn't go through....damn. I really hope it's not like this in lake placid....I would be pissed.

I'm gonna send money soon to Ellis Piltz for FF money.....woot

ok, it was really good today except when I found out my friend already beat me to clipper set mirage, and he's schooling mirage like cancer! DAMN! i have no shred space so I can't learn new stuff and school's getting in the way of shred........out of the way school! There was, surprisingly, no one to shred with today so that was odd. Then again, i got really pissed at some douchebag who just rubbed my face in his accomplishment.......literally! He rubebd my juice (good riddance) in a toilet bowl and pushed it in my face. It was ok b/c later on, I found out it was just sink water. I can't do anything now though......I just saw Tuukka's vid that was like 120 mb but only 9 min long. Really neat though. Their styles are sick! And James Risden is back which prompted me to see a vid of him shredding......he's reall, really, really good!

thanks 4 the advice. I DO school a lot but it's winter here and my house is small that's what I'm griping about. At school, I make the most of my shreds and time with footbag. I cram it into the dry, warm environment that is my school. Come summer, I own't even be here. I'll be outside shredding but thanks.........heheehehehehehe about the title, I judt translated it into german because it sounds really kick-ass.......

Yeah, i got a similar problem, cant shred outside either these days
and indoors is also not too easy.
My landlady kindly advised me not to"jump around" too much in my flat,
since there is plaster comming down and stuff.
And shredding in the hall way is also difficult, since the place is crammed
with junk and its mad cold too.
But even within the smallest space, i find enuff room to school stuff like clippers, ducks and pixie setting...

Btw, did you try mirage>legover yet ?

And another word of advice here, keep track on how many times you can
hit moves in a row and try to beat that record every session !

shred on man !

Thx a lot Daryl for the tips! I'm still kinda far from more complicated moves so I pride myself ins chooling basics left ad right until they're solid. then, I'll move to basic tricks and so forth. I'm really close now though to mirage. But for now, I'm just at clipper set mirage.

Yo J !
Its very wise of you to school your basics like that, we all have do so,
no matter what skill level !
I have a rigid training schedule for it aswell, with numbers of times i have to hit a move/combo before i proceed to te next thing on that list.
Very german !
But seriously dude, try leg over, its easier than atw and hella useful imo.
At the end of the day, i'm a noob too, playing for 4 and a half months only,
so dont take my advice too serious, only the moral crap i'm givin' ya from
time to time
And yeah, check munich footblog to read my over excited, lenghthy posts,
and to watch our vids (munich streetlife festival is pretty dope )
Fyi, i'm not on any of our vids yet, they were shot a little before my time,
but we've been filming a lot lately and hopefully, our site will be updated soon !

awesome man! Yeah. my training's almost German....even approaching Japanese! JK. but I have a stirct-ass regimen...before I can even shred, I do at least 30 inside stalls, 30 outside stalls, 30 toe stalls and 30 clippers. then about 40 flipsides. (Like 40 clippers, 40 outsides and stuff....) then, I start stretching and stuff....it's more like olympics training rather than schooling time.....lol....I'll go check out munich footbag. wwwwwweeeeeee!!!!!!!!

great work on the otherway around the world. also, do you stitch? If you do I'd love to see some of your bags, I know you don't have a camera so maybe you could scan them in at school or something... anyways is that 40 flipside clippers in a row, because if it is, that's seriously awsome...

thanks dustin 4 the props!

Yes I do stitch but I'm still starting out. I'm really digging it though.

As for clippers, It's still not my dominant stall so I stall it maybe two or three times, catch it, and drop it again. and so forth.....man, if I could do 40 clippers in a row, I wouldn't be here. I'd be schooling torque and whatnot....hehe

eeeeeh. I don't know bout that one. People are telling me that I should be able to do 40 flip clippers before I even start thinking about even the smallest guiltless moves. I don't know. I'd say that should be your main objective (along with those atw's and legovers and so on). I'm guessing at least try more clippers just so your shred strings aren't one-sided. Or at least that's what everyone is telling ME. :?

That's like the invention of the printing press, though, that you can do atw's with the in to out and out to in dexes. That's clutch and I should probably keep doing more of them. I only do one way on both sides all the time.

well, yeah, the torque was just a random trick that came out of me. Partly because I just saw eli execute it. I'm not saying, "screw toe stalls and go for torques, you know?"

hehe

JUST came back from placid. I did a lot of my shredding only to be dismayed at the fact that I had lost all dexing smarts over the weekend. I tried to shred everywhere but the skiing got to my legs and i could only do a little bit. It was really nice there though. I did get a small break from school so that's what counted but I really am happy too about the fact that I actuallly crammed in footbag into my busy-ass sxchedule over the weekend.....neat.

That's awsome, it's deffenatly hard to dex with tired legs, so don't feel bad about it... I bet as soon as your legs get better you'll be dexing like crazy again. :D

I'd like to just thank footbag for allowing me to ski as much as I want and skoff at the idea of feeling sore in the morning. Over the long vacation I went skiing with a bunch of friends and skied QUITE A LOT and I was thinking, "Hey. This is going to suck. I haven't kicked in like a week and a half and my legs may be too weak and happy. I hope I can walk down the stairs tomorrow." But alas! I woke up the next morning all fine and ready to. . . um. . not play footbag for another four or five days. Hurray for footbag endurance!! I've said it once and I'll say it again: footbaggers have superhuman abilities.
