I'm a little exited for GLASS, so i decided to put up a post on people thoughts of GLASS. Its good that we are having GLASS, since the Ontario scene is growing, and to bring us together to do what we love Shredding!!!

GLASS is going to kick ASS!

I'll tell you what's going to happen at GLASS, there will be shredders representing from all over the Great Lake Area!

Players from the Brantford Footbag Association (Atom C, Adam D, Johnny Superman, Jorden Moir, Jarrett Hutton, Anthony Superman?), Capital City Footbag Club (Ryan Seath, Dan Wax) Aylmer Footbag (May Laroque), Le Resistance (Nick Laroche?? James McColough, Claudia Gucciardi, Eli??, Caro?? Marc??) Kingston Footbag Militia (Derrick Ogden, Jared Mackay, Tom Mosher) Rochester Footbag Alliance (Aric MacIntosh, Steve Something, Christine, Matt Cross, Pat) Hackrifice (Andrew Grant) Footbag Alliance of Toronto (Camille Suravoy, Andrew Welgarz, Paul Toews, Billy, Adam Greenwood) Guelph Footbag (Jon Haber, Chad?) Bainbridge City Shred (Dan Feary) will be there throwing down with many others.

There will be some informal comps and some killer 4-square along with TONS OF FAT CIRCLES!

man don't worry about being unorganized. wanna know a secret? hackrifice 2004 didn't have a venue untill 24 hours before the event, didn't have dj's untill 3 days before, and didn't have turntables untill 13 hours before. and we got the venue in the skechiest way ever. joel calls the guy from the center and says "just calling to make sure there's gonna be some one there to open the door for us early so we can set up. we would like to have every thing set up by 10 so that gives us time fr any mishaps that- " totally confused the guy was like "what? we don't have you scheduled for an event tomorrow joel!" joel says "wait? what? you don't..." the guys says "we don't have you scheduled for an event." joel says "we talked about this in july! i thought you said that we could run the event at the center again. oh man, what am i gonna do, we have people flying in from out of town for this event..." the guy says "hang on let me check... okay the gym is booked till 2 for a class, but after that it's all yours. and you can use the grounds out side untill then. i'll clear sunday for you. jeez, i'm sorry about this mix up joel!" joel starts babbling thank yous and "i guess we'll see you tomorrow... haha, good thing i called eh?!" and the event ran fine! if only we hadn't gotten so worked up in shredding and started the comp as scheduled instead of 2 hours late! haha! it'll all work out. and it'll be great. i will say that it's alot less stressful to have every thing set up well in advance! we still haven't gotten around to making our shirts yet. pssssst- don't tell the guys from saskachewan that!
