I am only a half decent footbagger myself, but I RULE at pool and foosball, so BRING IT ON!

This tournament sounds like it is going to be a blast! I can't wait!

yeah man, this is going to be the best ever. as much as you might want to, you can't shred 24/7, so the rest of the time we can exercise our wrists!

(get your minds out of the gutter).

if we have any luck, we can find a pro-foosball table (square-corner 3 goalie). that'd be hot shit!

I know the hostel is super cheap, but if anyone is finding it difficult to afford everything, there is still lots of crashing space available. Andrew and I have space at both our places, and if needed, several other Toronto shredders are offering space too.

Just PM me if you need/want to crash. :)

Yes you can.

You can't not come, my hopes are far too high now.

We'll make sure you don't go broke.

I'm pretty sure he's still coming, I think he would just have to fine alternate accomodation arrangements.

Tom, since oakville is closer than TO to me, do you think I could take the train to Oakville whenever, and then go to TO with you. That would save me a bit of cash, and having to deal with subways.

I'm rather excited for this, looks like I'm renting a car to drive at least two ottawa kickers to Tdot, if anyone needs a drive on the way we can fit some or bump it up to a van rental.

Those spots are taken!!!

yessssss, the kingston footbag militia has a ride!

I am whipping the boys into shape, I just got back from a long shred with Derrick and now Jared is on his way over for a shred and later I am busting with Hugh.

We can't wait to look tough at GLASS.

I fucking love this sport.

Is this in reply to Suderman's post? If so I was under the impression we were gonna crash at the Hostel?

Hmmm, this is shaping up nicely. If school doesn't coincide... the T-dot could quite possibly be the location of my first ever tourney! Other novice shredders that I can hide amongst too! Perfect. :)

Peace.

i'm all in!

i get tips the monday befor glass, but i'm not going to pick them up untill thursday, so as to have at least 60 bucks for the weekend. i think that will suffice. that should pay for the hostel and beer. i can always steal hotdogs like ken somolinos

in european hostels it's hard to get a bed less than 2 days in advance and damn near impossible to just walk up to the desk and ask for a bed. that's in the summer season though. toronto in january shouldn't be too hard, BUT it's going to depend on how many people are trying to get reservations at the same spot. if there is going to be 30 people trying to get bed in the same place 3 days ahead of time, chances are slim we will all get in. i think a week, maybe even more would be advisable, it's also going to depend on how many beds the place has. i think it would be best to take a head count of how many people are coming and plan to stay at the hostel and then make a call to the hostel and ask what availability will be like that week, if they would be able to give a discount, that kind of thing.

also remember that a hostel is different from a hotel. in a hostel you don't rent your room, you rent your bed. you can't crash on the floor of in your buddies room at hostel, because other hostelers and the house staff will get pissed. with out a reservation i think you're done for. some thing to think about.
