Sorry. No video just yet. Need my IFPA membership to roll in then I'll post my part 1. But quick question. What's the policy on the music we choose in the videos? And by that I mean if there are many potty words all in a row. I mean I know we're all adults here and we can handle it but just wondering if it's not too "cool".

personally, I try to stay away from songs that say stuff like,

I fizzucked this biznitch last night without a rubber, pulled it out and let it out on dat stinky biznitches blubber

Its just not cool IMO

But I dont care myself, its just what? am I trying to portray in my video

While most of us are adults, there are a lot of children - so it would be nice if you at least warned everyone about the lyrics of the song. If you have plenty of webspace you could release two versions of the video. Of course you don't have to.

There are plenty of songs out there with no profanity...

Why not make the video "E" for everyone by just using a clean song?

c'mon language isn't what FUCKS UP our society and people, no matter of what age. use the song that YOU like.

IMO there is some strange stuff happening in this world: in the US, mtv jackass gets into trouble for nudity and profane language - which just reflects reality. but nobody cares about the violence and stupidity of the whole show, which is the actual "problem" with it....

I agree with you guys, but also it's up to parents to regulate what their kids view. It isn't up to the person that hosts/advertises what is being viewed. Plus, kids hear crap they shouldn't hear every day at school, on TV, movies, video games, etc. A few bad words here and there won't hurt. But I do agree that it isn't hard to find a clean song that will suit your video.

i gotta side with max on this one. use the song you want. if the song is really obscene then maybe give a heads up to those who don't want to listen to it, but i mean, come on, the sopranos are on prime time!!!

I agree with you guys, but also it's up to parents to regulate what their kids view. It isn't up to the person that hosts/advertises what is being viewed. Plus, kids hear crap they shouldn't hear every day at school, on TV, movies, video games, etc. A few bad words here and there won't hurt.

So you're saying that parents should watch every footbag video before allowing their children to watch them? That's never going to happen. Currently, I believe, footbag is protrayed as a clean sport. While a couple "naught" words won't change that image, a planthera of'R' rated videos could change some people's minds. Just my 2 cents.

No, I mean that parents should take action by checking what their kids watch and look at on the internet. It only takes a few minutes each day, or even each week to check up on your kids and what they are doing on the internet (with the help of very simple programs that parents can use on the computers). Anyways, it's only a couple of bad words... it won't turn a good kid into a drug dealer or something.

that is so true, i think this dude should be applauded. That applies to heaps of stuff in heaps of forms of media.
