It's just our luck that I am passionate about my vocals too!

I spend hours driving around honing my screaming skills. It's just another trick to hit.

I have REALLY mean chords too, you wouldn't believe it.

how about.. crushed panne. hahhha

Yeah I know what to use, I just can't afford any right now.

Hey, if someone helped me get some facile I would make them a bag for their efforts.

I had a session with Hugh this morning at 10:30. I didn't really do any strings.. or much of anything.. come to think of it.. what did I do?

I have another session with derrick and jared shortly, I really need to get the militia boys to coordinate schedules, more than once this week I have had multi-session days. Heh, at least it is whipping me into shape!

Yesterday Derrick forced me to try reactor swirl, I insisted that I can baaaarely hit reactor but he was stern, he wanted atomic whirling swirl. I offered pixie whirling swirl as a possibly hittable substitiute but he wouldnt budge. I gave him his stupid tries and one was actually close! Today I will try alpine tapping whirling swirl as a sick one.

also, today I hope for bsos whirling swirls, whirling swirl drilling must resume.

Paradon swirls don't feel unreasonable and my feet tingle at the realisation that that means barfly swirl is on the horizon too! Footbag is so exciting! I can't wait to be as good as I am going to be!

Yesterday was such an exciting day for my spins! (finally)
I have only been drilling my left side spinning because that is the weak one, I knew that I could do the right side one so I have not been trying it at all. Only ever to remind myself what it feels like to do it correctly.

Well last night my left side finally really started feeling more confident with the set. I was placing it well and spinning smoothly. I hit three weakside spinning clippers in a row, which beats my previous record of one. I also hit two in a row on my traditional strong side, I find that I am now really confident bailing to spinning clipper now!

Today I was trying things like pixie muted clipper>spinning clipper/osis, the way your momentum is caried is so cool. Same deal with pixie muted clip>mobius, mmmmm...

I guess my ducking is getting stronger, I really havn't been drilling it that much.

I think I may have a sore knee. My ankles are feeling great, however. The knee may be from lots of barflies/paradons/barrages/dso's/ripsteins that I have been doing lately. I think what kills you is drilling. We do these ridiculous motions over and over and over and over. I think whirls hurt me the most though. Tricks like.. blazing sets.. and.. any tight downtime whirl trick when done too enthusiastically.

I am going to give pixie tapping whirl and pixie reactor a few tries today. Hey, is the latter Juno Reactor? or is that shooting?

Oh yeah, speaking of sailing, I want to work on my confidence with my sailing sets. Like.. midstring I mean. I have hit sailing op toe x 2 before, that felt sick. I think I will figure out some simple drill that I can do sailing toes in to get better at them.

OOooh! I have been drilling my quantums too! heheh, what a sick set!

I love doing a quantum out of any trick with a dt mirage. You just sproing into it!

Also, finally I can quantum both sides. My fairies are equal now too, in fact the 'weak' one is now stronger sometimes, oh well!

I am getting better at remembering paradons in my strings, I hit paradon>ripwalk yesterday first try!

I can't wait to finally hit big apple too, that will be so amazing. I already called mobius a rollercoaster ride, imagine a symposium rollercoaster ride!

hey tom i know you have controversy about the material we have here(johnny and I) but if you would like i would be willing to bring you some if it will help get you making some choice 32's. but the colours we have that have proven to hold up are fairly mellow. like salmon, lime, forest green, white, and black. if you want some, i can hook you up at GLASS but you just have to let me know like more than a week before then.

Stoooooooooooooooooooooop! Noooooooooooooooooo!

You don't want to have fucked up knees man, it blows. It's even worse when you can't keep off them like me - I think my knees started to feel something way back in October but played through it. Bad idea. It was even worse idea to shred hard when they started feeling better.

Just take it easy man! A week or two of light playing is definitely better then taking a 4 - 6 off.

Don't worry Byrin, I have no knee pains now.

One or the other will just get a bit testy after doing a whirl wrong during a session. The pain (which is small to begin with) doesn't exist during my normal days. Thanks for the tips and the concern, if it flares up I will take some time off.

I just totally clogged the toilet and it overflowed, BIG TIME, the lady that works at the toy store came buzzing at our door, I think my piss and shit water must've been leaking on them. Oops!

At the second shred session we had yesterday I was too tired for freestyle so I just drilled my kicking for hours. It's coming along for sure, I can keep it up in good control much longer than I used to.

A few days ago I knocked my beautiful glass bong off my desk, it just landed on it's side and puked gross bong water everywhere, but it didn't break! Less than five minutes later I dropped my beautiful glass pipe off my desk and it didn't break either! What luck!

I need to get scholastically on track. I am not allowed to fuck up this semester.

Here is what I need:
- I need to get signed up for all my lab times in Mech 399
- I need to clean my frigging room
- I need to do the assignment due monday
- I need to start taking my motivation pills
- I need to sort out my fundage, I have no money to pay for the things I am supposed to pay for and it's FUCKING STRESSFUL

Ugh, please people, give me money.

I have decided to start these money making plans:
- FOOTBAG PINS!! who wants em?? I can make them in a plethora of styles and you can wear them proudly on your backpack or whatever to show your love for our sport
- Footbag t-shirts, I have decided to make a line of footbag shirts, I have a pay pal account, this should be easy.
- Selling footbags, I will make you a bag for money, help a mosher out

well.. I don't know if I can sell my 32's yet, I want to be sure that they are ready shreddy.

I can sell some 4-panels for cheap.. like.. 5 bucks or something.

Ok, I have to post about something that freaks me out.

I am not exagerating at all here, 80-90% of the time when I check the time it is either exaclty on the hour or the half hour.

For a while I started recording these times to see if they meant anything (like a message from space or something) but recently it just happens too often for me to care anymore. It is just fucked.

For example, I just checked the time, it was exaclty 1:00 PM, exactly a half hour prior I looked at the clock when it said 12:30.

I guess it still freaks me out when it happens, but it happens so often that I kinda just accept it now.

I will bring a crate of pins with me to GLASS. Yessss money!

Rob Creel scolded me today for splitting an infinitive.

I didn't know what the shit he meant so I looked it up.

Apparently it is a sin worse than the deadly sins in the English (pompous) grammar world.

Here is my boy Bill Bryson defending the use of split infinitives:

I can think of two very good reasons for not splitting an infinitive.

Because you feel that the rules of English ought to conform to the grammatical precepts of a language that died a thousand years ago.
Because you wish to cling to a pointless affectation of usage that is without the support of any recognized authority of the last 200 years, even at the cost of composing sentences that are ambiguous, inelegant, and patently contorted.
It is exceedingly difficult to find any authority who condemns the split infinitive - Theodore Bernstein, H. W. Fowler, Ernest Gowers, Eric Partridge, Rudolph Flesch, Wilson Follett, Roy H. Copperud, and others too tedious to enumerate here all agree that there is no logical reason not to split an infinitive.

-- Bill Bryson, Mother Tongue, 1990

Please don't ask me what one is, just do the research.

All it means is that you have to use really old stupid rules that make your sentances akward and hard to read or you will be looked down upon.

Though in my defence, upon researching the topic I found out that yes, I did split my infinitive technically/literally, HOWEVER in the sense that I meant it I still feel I was in the right.

I think Rob doesn't like me anymore because I stole floss and split my infinitive.

It was cool when we were on talking terms for a half hour.

Fuck, no one posts enough on modified. I am on here like.. 22/24 hrs per day and I spend all my time dumping shit into my stupid blog because you fuckers don't post enough.

Entertain me dammit!

Example of regular infinitive: "to go"
Example of a split infinitive: "to boldy go"

Actually, most linguists will say that a split infinitive is grammatical, and that prescriptive grammars (the rules say split infinitives are not acceptable) are silly ;-]
