CP 05'
CP 05'
I made it because I had cabin fever (snow storm kept me inside for 2 days straight). Thanks to Mike Hansen for hosting it, and thanks to the players for letting me film.

I had the privelege of previewing this (maybe an hour before the rest of you
). This is an awesome short little video of some of the shred going down at CP. mostly crazy Jorden strings, some Felix, a little of this and that. Really fun. Reminds me of a good time. My one issue is that I wish the camerawork had been more steady, instead of 'follow the bouncing ball' at parts. other than that, though, this was really enjoyable. Thanks for taking time out, both at the event and afterwards, to put this together, Alex.
BRICK!

I loved that video.
Any video that showcases more than one player (or a not very well known player) is always much more appealing to me. It doesn't hurt that it's a well done video with huge shred. It didn't really mind the bag-following camera work. Also, great selection in music. Something about that movie makes me feel incredibly optimistic about footbag.
As for the shred itself, I think what impressed me most was either Felix's spinning osis out of double blender, or his almost mid-string shaft. Jackhammer midstring by Jorden! whaaat

Hell yeah!
That totally brought me back to CP!
I now have something sick to show my friends here to better explain what it was like.
That was such an amazing tournie.
Thanks for making this movie Alex, it's totally awesome. It just got me really pumped for shred.

It's cool.
Experimentation in video filming is a good thing. It's just like Sam said, it's got to be slowed down to work properly, I think.
And, besides, the editing - the final thing was great.
think the slow things right, i had to take dramamine to watch that video.
I'm not a huge fan of the bag following, unless it looks just right, yours was pretty damned close. I'm not trying to knock on your vid. I thought it was some tight ass shred, great editing too.So thanks for gettin that out ! I was just thinking a couple days to myself, where is the footbag of CP 2005 ?? And BAM, here it is, if you have some more, I'd love to see it.
More C4 please <3
Alex's biology midterm has been moved to next monday on account of snow... how shall we celebrate? With a Part II of course! Mike Hansen is taking down Part I to make room for Part II, he will post a link later tonight. Dave Clavens is being kind enough to host part I for me on footbag.org. I will edit the link on my first post and give you the new address.if you have some more, I'd love to see it.

I forgot to comment on the shred.
It was all SO intense!
Jorden was as impressive as ever, I loved the torquescrew!
David Clavens looks so intense in this movie, his symp whirl out of torque was styllieeee.
Chris Kovacs has such a distinct style, he has super stalls and mega pump.
I liked felix's symp whirl>symp whirl>symp flurry. wooooeee! I bet that felt fun!
