I have some DANK upstairs and I'm trying not to smoke it for many reasons. I think that really, its better not to smoke, but once it becomes a comfortable habit, it's really hard to stop... + when people get high they usually do soemthing fun, so then psychological associations form and when they wanna do something fun, it will trigger wanting to smoke pot. see dogs salivating and the sound of a bell... i dedicate my not smoking pot tonight to my lovely girlfriend Anne Dios who is Patrolling northern japan in the snow, protecting them from simulated invaders

I like to smoke when I shred or during the weekend. But during the week school is my main priority. If I am too blazed during the week then no schoolwork gets done.
Pot is good in moderation but if you are too baked all the time you will spend hours doing nothing except sitting in your room listening to sublime, watching cartoons and pondering what the meaning of life is.

i have been smoking alot of reefer lately and i think it is starting to give me some negative effects. lately i have been zoning out alot and just been totally out of reality. i havent been as talkative as i normally am and stuff. i feel pretty dumb sometimes because of this. my friend says you grow out of it i dunno wat it is but yea. i wonder if i should keep smoking or take a prolonged break...
just something that has been on my mind. peace

Its all about moderation. My uncle has been smoking pot since he was seventeen (he's about fiftythree) and he can do the new york times crossword in about an hour (which isn't bad if you know crosswords, considering he's a stoner).

I'm only twenty-one, but i've been smoking a couple times a week since i was fifteen, and i'm in my second year mechanical engineering. It doesn't have to fuck with your mind (although my memory can be a little spotty sometimes). I have been cutting back a lot lately (in fact, i haven't bought any in weeks) because what it does do is destroy my motivation. hmmm... should I solve some third order differential equations or smoke a fatty and watch tv? not a hard choice to make, so i've had to keep the weed out of my house, or i smoke it all....

I'd say cut back, see how you feel, then ease back into it. i think weed can be a truly transcendental drug. It opens new vistas of thought. the first time i really figured out how to drive standard i was high, and I was high when i really understood the ramifications of the number zero (i know that sounds silly, but if you're a math-nerd, it might make sense). I'm not advocating you become a drug addict, but used properly and in moderation, drugs can change your life.

I wish i could do both, but when i'm high i only want to do things i like. that's not to say i can't work - i love drawing and building high, but math is pretty much out of the question. i just get frustrated and quit.

I gotta say the only reason i ever started circle kicking is because i was a major chronic.......

The first circles i ever entered were in parks aftyer sessions....therefore, though my shredding and chronic are kept quite seperate(sober shredder) i cannot deny the roots of my facination.

Not to mention the first place i ever saw a true shredder was at a weed march!! WTF!! The guy doesn't even smoke!(paul toews(sp?))!
If he had been being all high and mighty about weed, neither i nor a good friend of mine would have ever discovered footbag. Accept ...don't disrespect.

BTW any one who critizizes a pothaed and drives a car is a 'tard. I can kill my lungs without your help thank you very much. Don't you think i already know the consequences of smoking?!?

I had a stomach flu yesterday and i'm not very hungry.....but i bet y'all know what will cure that!!

hm. i smoked a bit starting at age 15. i quit smoking weed almost 10 months ago now (10 months in...like...12 days) because my girlfriend didnt like it. i didnt expect to be dating her this long, but obviously its a good thing we are still dating. BUT. i have had incredible urges for weed...i smelled some one time not long ago...it smelled so good. so far, im staying clean or whatever. but the day me and my girlfriend break up (not that it will necessarily happen at all) is the day i smoke an INSANE amount. and then it will be all back on man.

I ran into a buddy of mine on the first day of school. He appeared so incredibly different I was worried about him. The first thing to notice was his eyes...they were alert...no longer sunken and drowsy. Second, his responses were rapid, as if actually having a conversation. I talked, he responded. It was crazy. As if he were actually present in the room while we were talking.

Turns out, he had an asthma attack during the summer while kicking it with some top notch nuggs. Never before had he experienced respritory difficulties.

It's amazing how well this kid can concentrate nowadays.

Seeing the development of this kid once he kicked the chronic says what would happen to me; and I'd like it too much to ever quit. So all in all, I was just trying to avoid a post saying, "I don't smoke"

You can hit blurriest on command, right? You invented the moshing set, right? Seriously, if you can do that, you can quit. When you get the urge to toke up, go shred it up. I know you can do it. And that`s not just an expression, I actually know that you can do it. If you want it, you can definitely do it.

Yeah it was awesome when we starting kicking with you guys, knowing that you got into it cuz of Paul. But you've got to be kidding me about Paul not smoking!!!!!! I hate to say it, but he smokes more pot than anyone I know... Perhaps he wasn't burning at that moment, because his main purpose of attending the weed march was to spread the good footbag word...

Speaking of weed march...I almost want pot to stay illegal just so we can have those crazy gatherings where everyone shreds and plays drums and chills the fuck out... I wish we had the tam-tam...

And yes, I smoke dope once in a while... I've certainly cut back.
