You can get them on ebay or various websites i say go with worldfootbag and support the comunity. My lavers are lasting me a long time ive been shredding for like 10 months now and there so perfect like the bottoms are worn out so there light and nice and broken in i love em.
I usually have a back-up pair, but that's just because I'm usually looking for a good deal on them, not for fear that they will stop making them. If I ever do hear that word, well, I'm going to buy quite a few lavers I don't know when they'll discontinue the lavers since they've been around so long and the whole retro look to the shoes is 'in'. If you ever see a good deal on lavers and you only have one pair, jump on it ! Nothing wrong about having a back-up pair.
when they stopped making milleniums a bunch of players stock piled them. i heard Sunil bought like 8 pairs to keep him going.
lavers usually last me about 8 months befor they are wrecked. usually tears in the material from sloppily done mods, so a word to the wise. i haven't ever shredded through the soles of my lavers, but my goal for this year is to have holes in the soles of both shoes by the time snow falls next winter. that gives me about 9 months. i think i can manage it...
Or you could make the switch to another even more shreddable shoe. I haven't used them, but Climas are an example that seem to work for many shredders. I think that it would be a good thing if they stopped making them because that would push us to find even better shoes!
When repairing you will need to make a form (at the nose of the shoe) of tape or another similar product. Then just fill it up with glue and let it dry. If you already got a hole in your shoe, make sure to fill that hole out at first (off course) because if the glue gets into the shoe, it can be quite difficult to get out again!
