My parents are getting me a new bag for my b-day. I have a mini abshire and a standard. I love the mini.
With that out of the way, I have it down to a few bags I'm interested in.
Carol - I've heard great stuff and awful stuff, other then people's opinions I know nothing of the specs.
Felix - I hear they're big. I heard Vasek likes em. That's all I know.
J-bag - I know nothing about these.
Lonn Irish - I heard they're fantastic. Know nothing of the specs.
I plan on getting one of these four. ANY info, opinions, wieght, pics, reviews, general specs, tips about any of these bags would be great, as I don't really know which to get at this point.
Thanks a lot,
Ray

Felix bags are the best bags in the world imo.
Here are my feelings on various 32's I have played with:
- Lonn Irish: Super footbags!! I have never seen a bad lonn, everyone always seems real happy with her bags. I have had one myself and it was great. She lets you pick the size/weight/colours too! Oh, but last I heard she wasn't selling, it couldn't hurt to shoot her an e-mail to find out.
- Carol Wedemeyer: Great stitching with a long track record, but I have not had good luck with her bags. You always hear people saying that Carol's can vary greatly from superbags to blow-out city, I have sadly only experienced the latter. It's a real shame too because the bag looks really well made and material failure is a real crappy way to hurt a reputation since it isn't really the stitchers fault.
- Felix Zenger: I have had 3 Felix bags now, my first two are nearing the end of their lives so they are reserved in my 'super choice' collection now. It seemed like every circle I went into with my Felix's people would tell me it was the nicest 32 they'd ever played with. I can't say enough about Felix's stitching, he is the best. If you take the time to properly, sloooowly, break it in it will reward you so greatly. I don't know if he is stitching many to sell right now though. You'd have to ask him.
- Fred Touzelet: Fred bags are very precise bags! They are small and heavy and exact. Ales plays with Fred bags, he likes em small and heavy. I had a Fred bag this summer and it was a joy to play with, in fact, I think I am going to send Fred an e-mail right now to order a new one! I highly recomend Fred Touzelet Bags.
- Tom Mosher: I have had the pleasure of playing with several bags made by this highly respected footbag stitcher. He can sure stab a choice sack.
- Johnny Suderman: His sitching is spot on and his bags are choice shred rocks, I can't wait until he has facile.
I have not personally had one, though alot of people seem to be really happy with their James Hermey bags, you can find his info along with all these other people in the stitcher contact info sticky.
Hope this helps, Tom

at Chilly Philly every one complamented me on my felix bag
Alright, here's the update.
Carol's out for now. It's a shame, I've always wanted one of her bags, but I've just heard to many bad reviews. Also, I recently read that Lonn doesn't stitch bags for just anyone anymore, so I guess she's out. It's down to a Felix, which sounds great, but is harder to get (more expensive + international shipping) or a J-Bag, which is affordable, easier to get, but I haven't learned enough about it. Anyone who owns either of these bags and has pics or SPECS (wieght, size, break in time, etc.) please post them. And if anyone knows more details about the Lonn situation (DEFINANTLY stitching or definantly not stitching or what) please share.
Thanks a lot guys,
Ray

J-bags are completely hand stitched Zacharius. i dont know whereyou got your info. They are sewn by Trevorr Hibbs, Jhibbs on the forum. Erik chan loves his Jbag, and they have sweet patterns. Id grab one of those if you dont want international charges

Felix bags are so good because he takes such great care in making them.
He is constantly refining his designs and techniques.
I am sure you can get him to make it of any size weight IF he is making bags for the public right now.
I would say James Hermey bags are the most accessible/affordable for someone in the states.
