Help!

I recently colored my mesh white Lavers blue and red, with a blue sharpie and a red sharpie. It looks great, but I notice that the color is coming off onto my bags and when i wipe towels on them color gets on the towel but doesnt come off the shoe. I cant be wearing shoes that are staining my expensive footbags, so did i just ruin my lavers or is their some trick to keep it from fading or wiping off? Please help, I've heard of people coloring their shoes but never seen anything like this happen.

i bet if you run it through a washing machine with detergent, it will bleed as much as it's going to. they might look lame, but they'll be less staining.

yeh that's what I was going to suggest... don't put any of your other clothes in there with them though cause they'll probably come out all colored... maybe just drenching would work too...

MICROWAVE them

!! I dont know if this will really work.. and I wouldnt do it, but heat my bake the colors into the fabric...

The more you use your lavers, the less colour comes off the shoe. I had this problem before, but i figured that after 1 month or so that problem was solved. Also, if you play on conrete surfaces this problem will be gone in not time (whether you think its a good option or not)

what i did with my lavers when i colored them black was i colored them, dryed them with a hair dryer and let them sit for a few days on the window sill (in hopes that the sun would help dry them out) and i didn't have any problems with color transfer.

When I colored my lavers with black ink, I hair-dryed them, and then I let them sit two days, then I sprayed some Fixitiv (which is a spray to keep your art drawings from smearing) it worked but my shoe was a bit stiff, but it broke in back to how it was before.

All I colored on my new lavers was the leather-like part where the eyelets are. I colored them green to match the rest of the parts on the shoe and left the eyelets white. It looks good and it dosent come off at all.

On my old ones I colored the whole shoe black and it rubbed off every where and it smelled like crap and filled my room with that smell. So I wont crazy color any thing any more with a sharpie. It did stop smelling and rubbing off after a while but it wasnt worth it.
