had a nice 2 hour session today, my last was like 2 weeks ago and i hit some nice tricks. here you go!

- Gyro Legover and Merkon BSOS
- Bedwetter (First Time)
- Mobius (First Try)
- Blurry Whirl > Blurry Whirl(footed)
- Vortex BSOS (First Time)
- Gangsta Party (my first 7 ADD, on first try ever!!!!!)

was so stoked about Vortex BSOS because i haven´t hit it in a while, it was my last run of this session and it was perfectly timed with the ending of the song, and yeah,...!

pixie tapping whirl (almost bs)

I maaaaaaaybe invented a set too??

I have been working on it for a little bit now.

I hit alpha symp toe smiling butterfly a few times yesterday.

I am pretty sure the set is new. It's like Jorden's Levitating set (Fairy swirling stepping) but without the fairy and I do the swirl symp.

If the set is new I would like to offer the name "Moshing" for it. If it is not new, that is ok too, I am still going to call it Moshing.

Anywho, I would also like to offer the name CRIPWALK for moshing butterfly.

Please let me know if this is new.

P.S. the jobs for it is:

toe>symp op back to front swirl[smp][dex]>op in[dex]>>op out[dex]>op clip[xbd][del]

A new 6!

1. Props.
2. Video?
3. While you are free to name it whatever you like, I for one am not a fan of the proposed name. So far, footbag has mostly stayed away from naming tricks after diseases/violent things, and I think that`s a good policy. One of the best things about footbag is its accessibility, and how anybody can try it. Girls play, gay people play, a few asian kids play... it`s not a macho thing, its really open to everybody.

Naming a trick after an infamous Gang dance... something that can get you shot in several cities in America... not very tasteful. I taught at-risk middle schoolers in Denver for a summer, and it was just depressing knowing that the biggest decision some of them would make in the next year, wasn`t `which high school should I go to?` or even `what sport should I do in HS?`, but `should I join the Crips or the Bloods?` The figure that was given to us at the time, was that a kid could expect to live an average of 3 years after joining a gang. So if on of my kids joined the Crips when he was 14, he`d likely be dead before he was 18. The biggest part of my job that summer wasn`t teaching English and History, so much as making sure the kids would have enough confidence and smarts to resist the pressures of joining gangs.

Footbag already lacks Black players. Personally, i think that names like `gangsta party` and `cripwalk` only make us (the footbag community) look lamer and whiter than we already are.

When I think `Mosher`, I think of 2 things: enthusiasm and positivity. Cripwalk doesn`t really reflect that. You could name it that; its your right. I just don`t like the name, and thought I should explain why.

Does Cripwalk mean something? Or does Moshing mean something?

Sorry!

Hey Ken, what about 'Chainsaw Massacre' or 'GYBAS' or .. I don't know.

I just thought cripwalk was so irresistable. It is 'something before ripwalk' just like my move! Come on! We can't neglect a word that has the word RIPWALK *in* it already!

Anssi: Cripwalk is a dance/walk thing done by kids in a big gang called The Crips.
Moshing is an activity done by people at punk rock shows. There are actually very stylized and fancy ways to mosh, I bet most of you didn't know that, in general people usually mean just failing around smashing into eachother when they say moshing.

I think I invented another new trick last night:

Is sailing flying toe new?

I decided to learn fyling toes last night, they are sick.

I have to agree with Ken about cripwalk. Your examples of chainsaw massecre and GYBAS don't really fit with what he is explaining. Personally I think GYBAS is one of the funniest names, and its one of my favorite moves to hit.

I do like the name moshing though, having been in a few pits myself. I hate those ppl who stand there and just flail there arms around... thats not moshing...

I like moshing butterfly better.

Cripwalk sounds more fluid, but I guess there could be some problems with its name.

no, the toe set swirl is symposium. the leg that performs the stepping set is the toe that sets the bag, it doesn't plant until after the step. Way cooler 8) than pogo set.
