She doesn't have stairs, it's a one story house.

I'll post one soon.

All 7 of the grandchildren are male (XY). However, the "them" was referring to the "male" Y chromosomes of the grandchildren. So... half of the chromosomes were "male" (Y) and half were "female" (X).

i have been thinking about this one for a long while now, and while that technically makes sense, i will be offended if thats the right answer...because its so ridiculous. but possible.

sorry for the useless post that accomplished nothing in terms of riddles or anything. now that i think about it, that seems like the only possible answer anyway.

Similar to Rory's answer:

All of them were male...
The first half was male, the second half was male.

Okay, here's the Offical deal. You have 12 hours from the time your answer is correctly acknowledged to post another riddle.

Since I'm just making this an official rule, I'll give RhymeswithAlex until tomorrow morningish (because I'll be in school, so I may not be able to post a riddle in his place) to post a riddle.

It's 1:38 AM... which is technically "tomorrow morningish". So I'm jumping in. I'm guessing I'll get modded but let me just say that I SUCK at riddles and have a very low chance of answering any at all. So we'll see what happens.. This thread ROCKS!

What came first? The Chicken or the Egg? and why?

Sorry, but I've got to cancel out that last question. The topic is too broad to have only one suitable answer that people can guess to your liking.
Here are some links that give good examples as to the variation in the answers depending on the questioners particular take on the problem.

So for no points, and only the ability to ask the next riddle you must solve this.

Who was responsible for murdering 25% of the human population of Earth?

Dude, the chicken clearly came first in the sentence. It's completely unambigous.
Which came first the egg of the chicken. The egg, same logic.

25% of all conceptions end in spontaneous abortion.

Again...totally a matter of interpretation. If you are talking about sentence structure then you are correct. If you are talking creation then you may be incorrect.
25% of all conceptions end in spontaneous abortion.
Nope. That doesn't account for 25% of the Earth's Human Population.

Adam and Eve had two kids and the other one murdered the other one. Just guessing. I know nothing about the bible, and that's fine.
