Well i am completely owning my footbag skill.
Since the session, the first time i played with people in 6 months, i have a bunch of motivation and completely learning a bunch of new shit!

I have been playing footbag for over 2 hours every night after school.
me and joe played a game where we find a tough combo and whoever hits it on vid first wins.
First combo
drifter>pdx mirage>dlo
My dlos suck, joes drifters arent too good either. So we are even.
I hit this combo like, 4 minutes before joe

2nd combo
pdx mirage>atom smasher>drifter
we both had the same chances except my drifters are a little better.
I hit it pretty quick

And i hit 2 new triple dexes. My first one is freakish, but im keeping it secret til my trick competiton with joe. My second one is the ordinary not cool Smog.

Winterfest rocked. It is a dance thing at my school. We had this hardcore DJ who had music videos of the songs going while they were on. It was all rap, which im not too fond of (KEvin knows this) but since my school is PACKED with hot chicks, i lived with it

Wow. Well i play every weekday after school for like, 1.5- 2 hours. Then i usually dont play saturday because im usually doing stuff with my friends.
yesterday we were out on the lake (ice) and we had a golf ball and baseball bat. We decide to hit it around on the ice. 2 people would trade off hitting it, and 3 people would chase it down. One of my friends hits the ball, it goes OVER our heads. We were a good 100 meters away from him, and it just keeps going! So i run after it, and i ran about 2 miles on ice. I have run on ice for a while now, so i am really good at it. So im searching on the other side of the lake, at the shore! i walk around for about 20 minutes, and then i see it! It was about 40 feet away from shore. The ice was so smooth that the golfball went about 2 miles! Wow we played this game for a long time. It was real fun, cause to stop it you had to slide in front of it or throw your coat at it

Today i shredded. It was sucky at first. I was drilling osises, and i got 9
My osises are not good at all because i never drill them. So i decide to mess around with other drills. I end up making a goal to hit 40 contacts of buttterfly>paradox mirage>repeat by the end of the session. I start this goal at 2 PM, and i just kept going. By 2:25 my record was 32. Then it went downhill from there. I kept getting lower. 27,12,8,2,6,0. I was losing hope. I just kept on keepin on, and eventually got so tired that i got ANTI TIRED. This boost of energy kept me going and gave me more hope. Since I could no longer feel my legs, i kept going. It was 3:00 and i had been doing this drill for an hour... straight! Wow, so i go again. I count on every paradox mirage on my left side. 1......2.........3.........4.........5........6..........7.........8.........9.....SHIT!
god damnit i dropped on a STRONG side butterfly. So i calm myself down.
1...2.....3........4.........5............6.................7........8.........9.........10...drop on the next paradox mirage! Wow. I got 41 contacts of this drill!
This was by far the best feeling ive ever had in footbag. I have hit some pretty cool moves, but that feeling doesnt even come close to comparing to over an hour of hardwork, sweat, and aching legs that i can no longer feel. I was so pumped. Maybe thats how i typed all this. All that adrenaline wasted on typing. I should have kept shredding, but i felt that my session was fulfilled.

Haha. I am working on stepping and atomics, drifters, and DLOs all the time. I am hitting midstring DLOs no problem, and i have footed tapping DLO and atomic DLO. I have also footed atomic drifter. I should try tapping drifter.

LAS VEGAS
I left for las Vegas friday morning. We drive to the air port and get on the plane without any problems.
Friday night we go to my aunts house which is really big and nice. I have 2 little cousins who are really funny. We ate chicken enchiladas!
Saturday was the big day. I talked to Ben about playing footbag, and he said they play on saturdays at 1. They play at a church that was about 5 miles from my aunts, and 2 miles from the hotel. I get there and i see Ben, Steven, and Katelyn playing outside.
We exchanged names and and immediately got to shredding. Ben is really smooth and hits nice, long runs. He has some big moves in his runs. Steven is my age, but hes about a foot taller than me. He hits blenders and a "cheating" double legover, which is really just a spinning toe . He and I are at about the same level in our game. Katelyn just started, she has her toe stalls down really well, and she hit mirage bsos a bunch of times. She also hit a lot of good legovers and clippers.
I was so close to Tapping DLO during this session. i also footed atomic drifter many times. I had a NICE 20 or 30 contact run with some stepping and atomic and drifters. I also hit paradox drifter midrun
Saturday Night we went to the Fremont street experience. Its pretty much like a permanent carnival in the street with casinos on all sides. About 9PM i start to feel sick. SO i just walk around and wait for us to go home. I go to bed feeling like i am going to be sick for a while.
At about midnight i wake up, and run to the bathroom. My parents and my aunt were still up talking, and my aunt had a bucket ready. She heard my moaning and groaning in my sleep and knew i was going to hurl. I threw up the chicken enchilada i had for a snack earlier, and it was all red. It really hurt because it was all acid and stuff. Puking really hurts. I couldnt breathe because i was puking, and when you throw up your throat just goes one way. It was insane. I ended up puking about 13 times, and dry heaving (puking without the puke) about 10 times. Then i had diahrea and wasted all sunday sleeping and laying around.
Yesterday (wednesday) we went to a place that was trampolines wall to wall. It was probably half the size of a soccer field. I called up Loren Baum (cool hair) and he said he would come to the place to shred with me. he came with Ben and Evan Gatesman, the kid who won Sick 1 at CSS.
Loren is so incredibly good. He has a great nuclear set and everything he hits looks good. He had a couple cool double down combos, and his shuffle was insane! Ben was really consistent again. Loren gave me some great tips on stuff that i couldnt get too well. Im gonna school some of that stuff tonight.
Evan came late because he couldnt really find the place that well.
Evan was really good with whirls, and everything he tried he hit it seemed. evan was really cool and calm. He was also my age, but he was about 6 feet tall.
I didnt do too well this session.
I also bought some CT 520's in vegas. They are really nice, and i cant wait to get the shoe goo rail on them. I can hit some nice stuff in them but my strings are crap cause i have to concentrate on the clipper STALL so much.
If anyone has some advice on how to apply the shoe goo please tell me.
Oh yeah, i hit da da curve first try at the wednesday session. I also hit pdx da da curve today.
