Really, It's obvious which came first. The chicken.

There may be a genetic change in the germline of chicken precursor X such that it's offspring will be a chicken, but it is still laying chicken precursor X eggs.

Only a chicken can lay the first chicken egg.

problem solved.

Is there a puzzle coming anytime soon here ?

I spend about one hour searching to solve this riddle and I got no chance.

So I looked it up and now I am happy that I have done this because with the solution I cannot understand it ---- these kind of riddles are very hard for non natives!

Take my loss as one guess - I think you will be able to set the next riddle too

ok I get the solution - but does the meaning of the sentences bring you to the number pi too or is it only the counting of the letters .

I cannot relate the phrases to the number pi.

They might be related distantly to the whole pi as a religion movement.

It's a mystical number believed by some to contain the answers to everything or something like that.
