Brisbane Jam video, September 2004 - AUSTRALIA
Sorry for bumping up an oldish topic but I just wanted to comment a little on this vid since I'm in it
I really enjoyed it - thanks Ian!! - The footage of me was a lot better than what I thought it would be - although the runs were a little samey. It went really well to the music too! (best band in the fucking universe!) The editing was awesome too. I think this is definitly the best video to come from Australia - both in shred quality and editing. I can't wait to see the heinious footage you will no doubt film this weekend at the Australian Champs and hopefully you'll get some of my better runs:
On the first night of the tournament was when I was playing the best of the week. However Ian came up and asked if he could film after the debate on that topic here and I jokingly said no - and so he didn't
- I learnt my lesson anyway...
Also I think the toe set inspinning toe needs an explanation - that was my first ever attempt of that move - not that it's that hard - I just don't think it would have been put in if it weren't for that fact.
The Dan footage is also really cool - and it's definitly worth watching just so you can see some early footage of probably the next Australian Champion (in routines at least) - he's very good.
It was also great to see some footage of Jesse, Hagsey, Scott and yourself! It was a good reminder of just how good those guys are going to be and I can't wait to get to play with them all in about 6 or 7 hours!!!
Thanks a lot Ian - the video was easily worth the wait!!

It's definately style. Everything he hits he's good at.
His only problem is that he's too much of a perfectionist and doesn't realy try to bust super big. But then, that would be add hunting, wouldn't it.
He realy seems to try to perfect his current tricks before moving forward.
At least, that's the way it appears to me, only kicking with him at events and such.
Dan is definately a fan of the long run.
Jeremy is more of an extreme player (IMO), in that he loves to push the envelope on his level of play, and will often try stuff that is just out of his reach, no matter what the occasion. And it shows in that he'll throw something awesome into a run every now and again.
Yeah, the Australian Footbag Scene... a little something for everyone.

But aside from the spins, I really dig everything about his game -- the preference of long runs especially. The first really long run from him was epic. He throws in sooo many different concepts, and so bothsided, too!
