Does anyone know anything about May Days, yet? Is it going to happen? If so, when?

just a couple weeks ago I asked Allan if he wanted to help me organize May Daze with me again this year. It was originally our plan to do it every year but for various reasons he does not want to help so I would therefor be on my own.

I am in Tasmania, Australia at the moment but I am planning to be back in Canada around mid april giving me just enough time to still do the event.

I have not decided wether I will go through with it at this moment but if lots of people post and say that they will definatly come and that they really want me to and then tell me how cool I am too then I might consider it more seriously.

Well I would definetly be there, I was too young to transfer countries last year by myself and am excited about it for this year.

However, event or no event I am sure RCS and other Northwest clubs and kickers would come up just for fun, no need to have a hardcore event, just a small gathering where we could all rent one hotel room or somthing.

Still though, if an event can be organized that would be awesom.

If you have it the same weekend as last year, I would definetly be able to attend.
On a side note....Dylan is sooo cool. Coolest kid in school. Practically grease lightning.

If you hod May Dayz I won't look at you directly in the eyes the entire time out of sheer reverence...

But c'mon... Your opening string in the RCS May Dayz footage was just so sick!

Dylan is the coolest guy in the world with the smoothest style ever! I am DEFINITELY going if it happens, and I'll drag as many people from RCS as I can. :) I hope every Northwest shredder that can make it will go!

there are no dates as of yet because I'm not sure if its definatly happeningyet. but you all are doing a good job of convincing. someone mentioned to just have a jam. that might be an idea.its a lot easier than doing t shirts and players packages and locations and sponsors and blah blah blah.

as for a date...I guess late may is a ball park figure. I don't remember when it was exactly last year. but if there is an optimal time for some people we can schedule it around that.

I've gone from 30% sure to 50% sure, your getting me stoked.

montana is the 31st of march and the first of may so if you stay away from that seattle will represent hardcore. i think doing just a jam type thing would be great. just have a ton of people come and kick. that's what we're planning on doing for folklife here in seattle.

p.s. dylan is tight

The only thing is that Folklife is from the 27th-30th (fri-mon), and we're trying to turn Folklife into a jam this year. So I guess it looks like we've got three jams competing for a weeekend in May. I think last year it was at the beginning of May.

Yeah, here:

ps-I highly doubt I'd be able to make the Montana jam. :(

it's cool that you can't make montana, as long as all these dates are around eachother and not the same weekend, it should all work out

montana - april 30- may 1, folklife may 27-30, may days - undecided but i would suggest the second or third weekend in may to optimize attendance. also making it a more casual jam would be good because it's much less work for you. if everything works out i could go to 3 jams in a month wow.

btw did i mention that dylan is my hero

Definetly, I am sure RCS will kill at this event.

The only problem is that it is expensive to take the clipper to Victoria (considering a lot of us are young'ins with no money and 3 Events in a single month, all 3 which I plan to be at).

I came up with a better plan for at least a few more people that could cut the price in half.

Any Seattle Kickers want in? I also have a plan for Montana that could be about 20 bucks per person as far as gas goes (with the right amount of people).

It's not money constrictions for me, it's parental issues. I'm lucky to be able to make it to May Dayz. ;) Also, three jams?? More like two. :P It'll cost you next to nothing to go to the one in your own area. You could take the bus, live at Scott's for the -four- days, eat his food, and go back after the last day. Unless you want to have fun. Then I guess the money comes in. Whatever.

Did I mention that Dylan beasts on fewls subconciously because of his zen-like coolness?
