Dried out Footbags?

I bought a footfighter at chilly philly. I really like it but recently have had to wet it a lot while playing, like a couple times a session. Anyone put lotion on their bags? Im not sure what kind to use. The bag when I purchased it was really soft and had a weird texture that was very good. Is there a way to get it back to that?

try fabric softening it. Just rub it into the bag then rinse.

Before you do anything really weird to your bag, why dot you try washing it with some soap! This one is a no-brainer. If that doesnt make the bag feel better/less crusty, then why not try the wash it and then use fabric softener on it idea. Ive done that before. Remember that footbags are made from textile materials, just like clothes and, as such, they can be washed, just like clothes! Wash it, wa-wash it, wash it o-oh!

I don't recommend using fabric softener on FF Footbags... The fabric will stretch out too much... When it is "crusty after air drying, just massage with your clean hands... Like you are breaking a facile footbag. It will be good and soft after few minutes... You can rub some body-olive or hands-ceam or body-lotion in your finger-tips befor massaging the bag, but not too much...

And for washing FF footbags I recommend some shower-gel for sensitive skin or some gentle shampoo (these for babys are IMO the best...)... Then you must wash out all suds really faithfully.

ive got a FF, and i just used dishsoap, when it dries out, its hard and crusty, but then i just rub it in my hands for a couple secs,and then its back to shreddable
