So I havent played much lately, I was dumb and got drunk downtown last Saturday and when we were taking the bus back me and a few friends were wrastlin in the back of the bus, throwing flying elbows and such and I ended up banging my knee on a post (ow fuck) Bad idea, it's been tender since today, but it's feeling great now, so I figured I'd shred again, I didnt want to risk shredding on it before CP cuz I'm stoked about it and all.
Anyways, I shred today, nothing serious, drilled atomic sets, drilled stepping stets and then just messed around, drilled pixie ss mirage rpt alot and also worked on stepping ss legover alot too.
I also sealed pheonix both sides!! and assassin strong side, AND pixie diving legover!
It's Christmas Eve! My mom's cranking out the party favours like there's no tomorrow, the fridge is stocked with sleeman and rickards, the presents are piling up under the kickass tree we have, and IM FULL I can't eat anymore haha sausage puffs and turnip turnovers mmmm, im not eating anything till we go to the church, then the rum flows, hopefully hungoverness doesn't happen tomorrow. ah well, It's christmas!!!

So not so CHILLY PHILLY!!!
Bestest footbag experience of my life thus far.
Better than worlds.. In a way... Such a more laid back vibe at this tournament, alot more intimate.
I had sooooo much fun!! The events began on the 29th when Jorden THE DESTROYER Moir arrived at my house, after I gave his aunt shotty directions and almost sent them to Montreal! Though he was delayed, he did make it. We ate grilled cheese sandwiches and then had about an hour shred sesh in my dirty ass room. He was taking it easy but was still super impressive. He hit blurry whirling swirl, barfly swirl... uuuh, thats all that I remember, it's safe to say everything he hit was kickass. I hit blizzard both sides, omlette both sides, and dbl pickup both sides all for the first time during this session. It was good times. After the sesh, we drove to the corner store for slushys and candy mmmm.
On the 30th I woke up at 6am went to work till 10 am (I got off real early so that I could go to CHILLY PHILLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I got home from work around 10:30, woke up jorden, got him to start getting ready, called the car rental place to make sure I had everything I needed to pick up the car, and then found out I needed the whole price of the rental on my credit card as a down payment!! I DIDN'T HAVE 250 BUCKS ON MY CARD!!! I started getting real freaked out, I didn't realize I needed so much down payment on my card. I started having these scary thoughts that my shitty credit limit would keep Jorden, Tom, and I from going to CHILLY PHILLY, and I was freaking out, so I ran down to my bank, I leveled with the bank employee, told her the whole story and told her that I needed to make a payment on my credit card that could be used as credit within the hour. She said she couldn't do anything and I'd have to wait one to two business days till the payment would go through. Feeling even more freaked out, I got on the phone with the credit card company, I used the bank phone, I told them the whole story but they were much more understanding, he told me there was no way I could get a payment to go through so fast but he suggested that I just increase my credit limit, so I did, he asked me some quick questions then BAM ten minutes later I have an extra $500 credit on my card! Perfect!!! So I ran back home, grabbed Jorden, and we hopped on the bus to pick up the rental, everything went smoothly with the payment and pickup and just like that we were on our way back home to load up the car.
(Side note - On our way home from the rental place we stopped at Pita Experience, THE best pita place in THE WORLD. It's the best for many reasons and Mosher can back this up... Jorden agreed it was splendid and he got a philly melt, y'know, for the occasion. k back to bloggage)
So we load up the car and hit the road to kingston. Drive drive drive, tunes tunes tunes, turn turn turn, Tadaaa kingston.
We picked up Tom from the train station, he was just arriving in Kingston when we got there, it was almost perfect timing. So we pick up tom and head back to his house. We then had a mini sesh in toms house, jorden hit lawnmoir and then INVENTED lawnmoir rake aka yard work
he hit a bunch of other stuff, so did tom so did I. I hit my first ever nuclear ss pickup, and also footed pdx tap. So another good sesh under the belt. It was at this point when we left for food, we looked for food, we found food, we ate food (I had a philly cheese steak Tom and the Destroyer destroyed a fajita platter)
Then we went to the arcade across the street from toms house, and we OWNED the freethrow basketball game, that machine was just vomiting tokens all over the floor, and yet even though our elite basket sinking skills won us a whopping 490 something tokens all we received a mere "suprise bag" full of junky candy. At least we showed that machine who's boss, stupid hoop game, he'll think twice before dissing us again.
We then headed back to toms house had a bit more of a sesh then I wrote my one and only pen-based blog entry and it went something like this:

IN K-TOWN...Drove here via blackish 2004 Pontiac Sunfire! Definitely a rental. I was very afraid I wouldn't get the car because of credit card problems, I ended up having to up my limit of credit so I could rent itBOOGERS <-------courtesy of tom(he hijacked my book and wrote that)
Everything worked out in the end, now I'm in Kingston with Jorden the Destroyer Moir, and Tom, Shreding hard. Hit my first nuclear set move, nuclear ss pickup and almost had pdx tap. I also hit my first oblette!! Philly tomorrow morning!! soooooooooooooooooooooooo stoked!!

I crashed early that night so I could get moderate sleep before the big drive to CHILLY PHILLY!! just as i was falling asleep I was awoken by tom and Jorden cheering and screaming because Jorden just invented another new move. I don't remember what it was... Maybe one of them will remind me.
ok, NEW YEARS EVE Dec 31
We all wake up at about 9:30ish, load up the car, and drive down to this breakfast restaraunt. I started my coffee spree, downed three mugs, ate and we left. We crossed the border at Gananoque or however you spell it, and I evilly did not let tom go to the duty free shop (sorry!) I guess it is best we didn't because then he would have ran out of cash even earlier than he did! Crossing the border went smoothly and before we knew it we had filled up and were cruising through NY state. I was on my fourth coffee a very very large one. Driving was pretty smooth, we didnt get lost until we took a wrong turn in the quaint little town of Conshohocken, figured out where we went wrong and got back on track. Once we arrived in Philly we had a HELL of a time finding the hotel, and I had to manouver through horrible gridlock traffic that was caused by some main street being blocked off for some reason. So we FINALLY make it to the hotel and we start seeing all sorts of other footbaggers, as we were sorting the valet shit out Jon Schneider's car pulled up and he and his crew piled out, thus signaling the beginning of CHILLY PHILLY! So then Jorden and I get up to our rooms, meet up with Alex Strassman and such. Alex is a super cool guy, and real funny too! I'm glad I got to share a room with him. He and his parents have real cool New York accents and they brought us Gatorade and banannas! And baby carrots!! How cool is that?

Jeezuz, we're still on the 31st... So we do the room thing, and then I head down to the main lobby with my shred gear, we rounded up a few people and started a little warmup circle on the voleyball court across the street under the one shitty source of light. It was me, Aric McIntosh, Joe Kulacz, and John Fitzmorris. Stuff was hit, other stuff was hit and in the end.. stuff was hit. I was playing shitty and was playing even more shittyer when the huge crowd of footbaggers came over and started watching, i was feeling real intimidated playing while Ales, felix, Steve Goldberg and just about every other shredder who arrived that day was watching. Regardless, the circle was a good warmup circle and I had lots of good practice for me to suck even more when the shred session moved into the subway terminal. I wasn't very happy with my strings during this day, I did shred for a while though, and near the end of the night i was feeling more confident in my strings. I did finally hit a clean pdx tap that evening though, and I was happy about this. OMG I know im missing stuff here. Ack I'm trying to get it all. After the shred, we did stuff.
JAN 1, 2005
I slept on all the throw pillows that were on the two fancy beds in our room, it was someething like 3400 or 3500 pillows, maybe a few more, a little excessive yes, but much more comfy than just carpet and a sleeping bag.
Today was B-E-A-UTIFUL! Sunny and like 60 bajillion degrees... CELCIUS!!!!!!!!!!! Actually I don't know just how warm it was, but I can assure you it was MUCH warmer than Ottawa. We was all shreddin on da phat volleyball court bustin some mighty sick shit lefty and righty, the vibe was mad tighty, and if you werent there, you should have been, that's righty. I played with a bunch of peoples, Nick Laroche, the whole rochester crew, John and Joe, etc etc, shred was good I got to meet alot of new people that day, and I also picked up a footfighter bag from Ellis. I still haven't named the bag, it's red with black spots. I just may call it something like.. hmm, Murdered Swan or something, maybe I'll call it Cantelope, or John Deere!! OR maybe quazimgojibbleflapper, I'll think about it some more. I know more interesting things happened this day but unfortunately my mind is drawing a blank. soooo
On to Jan 2, The VENUE DAY!!!!
It was so cool shredding in the Tennis Pavilion that I have seen time after time on last years CHILLY PHILLY video, I felt so much like a footbagger being there, knowing I travelled for 8 hours to shred at this spot. It was awesome, everyone showed up that day too, Kenny, Pete, Thomass, etc.
It was this day that I shred in my most favourite circle of the tournament, the circle consisted of Kenny, Yacine, Tom, John Mahood, and Ales, not all at the same time, but some came some went. I got props from KENNY SCHULTZ and Mahood, and Ales, and it felt so good! Tom gave me some props too, but meh, haha just kidding tom, I love your props, go tom go.
I played lots of four square today too, the four square game went on the whole day and just changed people, as it normally does, four square is definitely very cool.
ok so more stuff happened, people started leaving and i was sad. Yes, CHILLY PHILLY was ending for so many, but CHILLY PHILLY wasn't over for me and my crew! We decided to stay another night instead of driving back that evening, so Tom, Jorden, Emily, Tim, and I split on a shitty crappy stinky dirty old hotel room in New Jersey and just had a shitload of fun drinking and playing footbag games in the room. I had such a fun time that night, and I was real happy I got to spend lots of time with Emily and Tim, they are both super awesomly cool people and tim has half a beard, WTF. I can grow half a beard, but it's all patchy all over my face, his was all neatly to the left side of his face, very stylish.

oh man, home stretch... Ok so Emily and Tim took off in the morning when Mike Hansen(very cool guy) came to the room and picked them up. Jorden, Tom, and I slept in and then checked out, then we drove to this cool buffet, got full, then hit the road back to Canadia. drive drive drive, sleep sleep sleep(not me) rain rain rain, coffee coffee coffee...BAM Rochester, yea we made a stop off in rochester because Matt Cross devilishly stole a bunch of our stuff in his car so we were FORCED to visit him, what a bastard I says. Ha ha just kidding, it was good to see him one last time, he's a real cool guy, awesome guitar player. So we picked up our shizznat, then crossed the border in Buffalo, drove up through ontario, dropped Jorden off in DundASS and then headed to Oakville where I stayed the night at Tom's parents place. I got to Meet their awesome boxer and two cats and none of them made my nose go *sniff* so they are all in my good books. I also got to watch my first every episode of THE IRON CHEF and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We had plans to shred that evening but instead we just watched trailer park boys episodes and laughed.. OH YA we also made our own cereality style cereals, and they KICKED ASS, I dont even remember what was in it anymore.. i konw there was chex, honey nut cheereos, frozen blueberries, and brown sugar, the rest has been forgoten.
omfg Im so sick of typing.. so i wake up the next day, we ate eggs and I left, drive drive drive, tunes tunes tunes, turn turn turn, OTTAWA!!!! I got backed up in Ottawa traffic for like an hour and was late returning the rental so I had to keep it for an extra day, so I did donuts in the home depot parking lot with it, man it snowed so much since I left, its friggin snowing right now, we're supposed to get like 20cm's today, um that's metric, in imperial i think that's like 2 miles of snow.. I may be off on the conversion.

OH YA we also made our own cereality style cereals, and they KICKED ASS, I dont even remember what was in it anymore.. i konw there was chex, honey nut cheereos, frozen blueberries, and brown sugar, the rest has been forgoten.
omfg Im so sick of typing.. so i wake up the next day, we ate eggs and I left, drive drive drive, tunes tunes tunes, turn turn turn, OTTAWA!!!! I got backed up in Ottawa traffic for like an hour and was late returning the rental so I had to keep it for an extra day, so I did donuts in the home depot parking lot with it, man it snowed so much since I left, its friggin snowing right now, we're supposed to get like 20cm's today, um that's metric, in imperial i think that's like 2 miles of snow.. I may be off on the conversion.

So I forgot to mention
-The last night while we were playing games and drinking in the shitty hotel room, I managed toe stall>toe pinch! and also xbd toe pinch>far toe pinch!! DO IT GUYS.
- I got to practice my 3-ballin juggling techniques and Im alot more solid just normally juggling, Jorden taught me about cascading and I am starting to get the hang of it. I'm going to practice juggling alot more. AND I'm buying an acoustic guitar and learn how to play it, it's my new years resolution.
-I challenged Tom to make a Star-shaped bag, and he did! and it was playable sorta
-Philly is a cool city, but not cool, actually pretty warm, but it's definitely cool
-I'm now a Craptacular Spatula
-WE NEED A GLASS VENUE

Yesterday I seshed with Mat and we got all excited about GLASS!
I hit fairy illusion (fudge?) and had a string with bsos atomic ss legovers
I had a few fairy butterflies mid string, and I pixie shuffled my way around the whole stage. I hit somethingl ike smear>pixie ss pickup>magellan>paste>parkwalk>ripwalk>stepping ss mirage>pixie ss mirage

I hit atomsmasher back to back for the first time at glass, that was the only real "new" trick
But yesterday!
I hit atomsmasher back to back on three seperate occasions, two on request and one mid string.. THEN i hit atomsmasher>atomsmasher>dimwalk>blur
I also had dbl switchover>dbl switchover and datw>plo>datw that was fun
uuuhhh, atomics are coming along! I'm so stoked about that for sure.. I am so sore from yesterdays shred tho, still sore from GLASS, and stoked about Cole coming next week! COLE WOO OTTAWA SHRED, everyone should come to Ottawa for hein shreddage next weekend, give me a call if u can 613-834-1840
