well if the sand is clumppy and hard clearly it was wetted befor, mr.sandbags are not to be washed, or to get wet... if it dose get wet, what i do is damp it off with a towel and its usaly fine. dont wash. when its wet sand litterly POORS out, even if u dont see it its comeing out like a falls.

get lavers, your shoes suck.

Edit: thats not to be an ass, im just saying unless u got a pair of good footbag shoes, you pretty much are limiting your self to your level of play, go to http://www.worldfootbag.com or go on ebay and find a cheap pair if u got smaller feet, ebay dont have big sizes it tends to seem :( witch sucks for big footed guys like me. they are only 55.95 from worldfootbag, thats with shipping, thats alot cheaper then my 80$ skate shoes i used to wear. and these shoes can take a HELL of a beating, they look cool.

good luck on your footbag quest of bliss

If your gonna get into freestyle kicking it strait up isnt a really big matter if you just want to get the bag around and mess around hey thats fine with me but if you want to get into freestyle your shoes will not work. If you look at all the freestyles there are probably like 3-5 main shoes we wear,- lavers, climas, new balance and some others i dont think there is a "cheap" shoe out there anymore everything is so damn expensive. if you dont want to spend the money like zach was talking about then go onto ebay and see if you can find a cheaper pair, but 50 bucks is really nothing considering people easily pay 100 for a pair of skate shoes. Thats just my 2 cents and welcome to the forums you are very welcome to this happy place :D

yeh check ebay, but also about washing your sandbag it has been seriously debated here

http://modified.ca/footbag/viewtopic.ph ... 0&start=80

I think most people agreed that washing it one or two times was ok, but I'm not sure. Hope this helps.

welcome to modified man.

:)

EDIT:

Can't wait to see you start up a blog man......

while that's completely off topic, I've been a sand fanatic before and yes Zach's right. NEVER WASH A SANDBAG. when I first got my Dirtbag, I waished it to break it in.........a process only to be done with pellet fileld bags or anything else not fileld with sand......just take good care of it and dampen it once in a while just to get rid of dirt that will eff up the bag.

Edit: Never mind I just said what Dustin said.

Dude, I know Lavers sound like alot but there worth it if you want to get into freestyle. Look around on here and these sites:
http://www.footbag.org
http://www.flipsider.com
http://www.footbag.cz
http://www.monsterhack.com
http://www.freedomfootbags.com
http://www.sherditas.com

Have fun!

Oh yeah never play with a wet bag. It may stall better but it ruins the bag.

actually, she's got a good point. the nike sandbag Nate mailed to me was kicked into a puddle today. So I washed it when I got home. but I put put it into a jar, with some soap and closed and shook the jar which lifted most, if not all the dirt off. then dried with a paper towel...or three or four but inly if it's suede, personally, I wouldn't wash my panne bag if it was dropped into fecal matter......wel maybe a quick rinse

rinseing is where its at if you absulotly MUST clean your sand bag alittle from, oh say Puke, feces, or some other decusting thing, just rinse then PAT dry with a towle, try to limit the times you do this to your bag, but if u must do it ^ thats the way to go about it. i really wouldnt use soap on a sand bag, maybe on seade, not on mr. sands tho.

Where do you live? You should meet up with some footbaggers in your area. Your skill will increase 10 fold.
