Most THE'd trick

Post by max »

Just thought I'd compile a list of tricks that are the'd everynow and then. Which do you think is the hardest to hit clean?
Or the one you see hit unclean most of the time?

Pdx barrage is pretty hard to not "the", but I have to say mofly too...or pixie mofly

I have a problem with keeping voodoo clean too.

maybe I should have polled components (downdouble, barrage, illusion, swirl, whirl) ... I'll see. Still barroque seems to be taking the lead!

Barroque for sure! Think about this: How many people have actually hit REALLY clean barroques? I can think of maybe... 2, that I know of? Maybe 1?

1? Come on Nicky Ell, of course they're not going to be clean every single time always, but I can think of at least 8 people who've got them.

You understand my point Kevin..

They get the'd SO often , that you very rarely really see clean ones.

I never hit any of the tricks listed in the poll, but out of what I can do, torque is probably my most the'd trick. Sometimes I barely spin but still get the mirage and osis part down. I've been trying to work on it though.

Clipper is the most 'the'd' trick ;)

Nah, really it must be Barroque. Almost everybody are so fucking lazy that they 'the' it.
Barrage is also very the'd.

Interesting thread. I didn`t vote, but I have to say I like your choices of moves. There are lots of move that people do `the,` but get away with them because nobody is actively looking for, or expects to see `the` dexes in it. Ripstein is a good example of that.

As for what trick is `the`d the most frequently... I can see this being interepreted 2 ways. The first interpretation, is you are asking for what trick has the highest ratio of `the` to clean execution. Barroque would be a good example, since such a high percentage of barroques I`ve seen have been `the.`

But not a lot of people do/try barroques. So while most barroques I`ve seen are `the,` I don`t see it that often. Which leads to the second interpretation of the question. It could be interepreted as: `what is the `the` trick you see the most often?` Spinning whirl and PS whirl could be good answers, since I see these hit `the` more often than I see people hit barroque, clean or otherwise.

In your original post you ask 2 pretty different questions, so I wasn`t sure how to vote.
