In good news today, President Bush has reopend the Nevada nuclear (I'm sorry... Nukeular) test site again. He plans on having it ready in 2006....
Syria, N. Korea, and all those other places watch the fuck out. We's rednecks is gunna nooke you!
Seriously though, Bush has to be attempting to start world war 3 by now... And it's going to be a nuclear war... Anyone else have this feeling now?
Bush's hand has been dealt to him... Is he bluffing, or does he have the big money cards? Poker with the entire world... Risky...
Don't piss off the US, or we're going to nuke your ass!

I am pretty sure that North Korea will be ok, attacking them would be a terrible idea and there would for sure be deaths in capitalist neighbour countries: South Korea and Japan. North Korea also isn't a weak country, they ACTUALLY, unlike some other 'war on terrorism' countries, have a decent military that could possibly do some serious damage to American and allied troops (I am not saying over 1000+ dead in Iraq is a small loss, I am saying that it would be a lot worse in North Korea).
It is pretty obvious that he's gonna try and go after Syria next, it just makes sense seeing as how he loves attacking defenseless countries to justify his over budgeted military spending. Maybe instead he should focus on getting the people of America jobs and a decent education not limited only to the suburban folk.
Actually, I think Syria will be ok, George couldn't find it on his little globe that his daddy bought for him.

iran is definitely the next target. have you watched CNN lately? it's like every second news story is about iran - whether they have nukes, whether they want nukes, how we're going to stop them from getting nukes...
of course, they never do any detailed analysis of why they want nukes, but that wouldn't be 'news', that would be 'history', and if there's one thing this administration has tought us, it's that there is NOTHING to be learned from our mistakes.

Wait, I thought Condi said the question of using military force against the Tehran regime "is simply not on the agenda at this point in time." http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/europe/02/09/rice/ but we have pledged to support Israel in any 'security threats' including their pending invasion of Iran. How convenient.
I'd like to see Mr. Oates weigh in here.

Just one comment at this time:
ted's quote of Condi:
-----------
we have pledged to support Israel in any 'security threats' including their pending invasion of Iran.
----------
their invasion? this wording is confusing. Is this suggesting that an Israeli air or cruise missile strike is an invasion of Iran?
It's not an invasion when foreigners blow things up in America, or train stations in Madrid. Invasion is bad terminology.

Ignoring flu-boy's inane justification of a D.C. crater.......
I think the right of a nation self-defense should be paramount.
But why should Iran or North Korea be the only lucky ones?
I am not opposed to all nuclear proliferation.
Cleary, all of us would support Taiwan and Japan's right to have nuclear weapons for self defense, wouldn't we?
The atomization of China's cities would no doubt be a useful deterent in the future self-defense interests of Taiwan and Japan.
Japan doubly so, to counter any China threat and to discourage that lunatic, N. Korean leader from launching any more missiles accross Japan.
