I made this one while watching the super bowl:

I'll probably start selling them soon, once i learn how to do the last knot better. Right now, sometimes I do it really well, and it's impossible to see, but sometimes you can see the whole last knot. I'm really inconsistent.

Just finished a short session, even though I said i wouldn't play. My foot wasn't hurting though.

Here were my accomplishments:
-26 contact guiltless run with a lot of uniques
-first triple dex, Pixie ss Dlo, soon to be sealed
-sealed Pdx. Torque for the first time, w/ butterfly>run

Average # of contacts for the 13 guiltless runs i counted was 8.5. Not too great, not that bad. I will do better next time.

Basketball=OVER!

Actually, it was a pretty fun season. I was easily the worst player on the team, but I still managed to score two points. I had a lot of steals though. An added bonus is that we went undefeated, so we all get trophies anda big plague with our names on it. Cool, huh?

I've had a pretty good past to days. I had two basketball games, and i played well in both of them. I also got a perfect score on a big essay in english. Score!

I think the best way to improve at footbag is to set goals to complete in a certain amount of time. Here are mine:

-take a couple of days off to let my feet heal from all the pounding from basketball
-ripwalk b2b, clean by Feb 20
-dimwalk<blur rpt by March 10
-DLO bsos five times by March 10
-diving clipper>ducking clipper both sides by March 1
-torque>drifter>rpt by April 1
-Pdx drifter>drifter rpt by March 10

I just remembered something else to say.

To get my steel shot to use for filler, i bought a box of shotgun shells and cut them open. I couldn't find any shot by itself. It was pretty fun, because after i got all the shot out, my brother and I took out the gunpowder and burned it in the driveway. I actually ran into something on the way back into the house because I was seeing little greens dots because the flame was so bright. Fun!

I just talked to david clavens online, and then right afterwards, I think "I should play footbag". So i open up my blog and look at the goals i made. fifteen minutes later, I have hit 3 -almost 4- of them. OMG!!

i hit ripwalk b2b, very clean, Dimwalk>Blur rpt about 10 seconds afterwards
and diving clip>ducking clip both sides about a minute later.

My new goals to replace these will be

-ripwalk x4 by March 10
-Shmoe>Butterfly rpt by March 10
-zulu clipper b2b by March 20

I have to go do homework now. how fun.

I've had about three sessions since my last post. Only one good one.

Highlights:
drifter x6
toe drift>pdx. m>pix ss drift
park>drift>pdx. m> rpt

Yeah. That's all.

I haven't made any new bags, but I'm in the middle of one. I'm getting tired of my current colors, good thing more are coming.

Bye, I'm gonna go play footbag now.

-smear>plo>rpt
-500+ kicks
-25 infinities

Thanks james. That made me feel really good.

I hit toe mobius today yay!

I think I am going to fail my geometry test tomorrow. I don't understand systems. Too bad.

My abshire broke and I looked at the filler a bit. It's alot like mine. I'm gonna sew it back up even though its over 1.5 years old. I hope it will last me 2 years.

I want to trade bags with people soon, tell me if you're interested.

I am going to new orleans over spiring break and hopefully I will be able to play with Mathochist! I should pm him right now...

My two best friends are into footbag, but they aren't too good yet. I hope they stick with it. Right now, they are learning clippers and toe to toe 2 adds.

bye. nathan

Now I have to go take a shower and get ready for school. Later, nathan

I would be willing to trade bags with you.

PM me if you are interested, I think we are at very similar stages in our 32 stabbing process.

I am going to go make a bag.

Another good sesh I played for about an hour probably.

Here's what I hit:

blur>plo>pix torque
ripwalk x3 -new record
36 infinities -new record
flip pix ss dlo
9 osis -new record
pdx whirl

I was really out of breath after the 36 infinities. If I keep schooling those, my stamina should increase and my runs should be longer.

Pix ss dlo was somewhat the, next time I hit it it won't be.

9 osis is pathetic. Look for the record to be broken big time soon,

Flip pdx whirl was off my foot multiple times.

Next session these are my goals
-10+ contacts on average (guiltless)
-Hit all the single tricks i hit over the past 4 days again.
-Step ss mirage>pix ss osis>dive osis

I took some pictures cuz I felt like it. I would have taken more, but my camera started to go dead, so...

Image
Shot of a golf ball, my abshire, lonn and my own. These are all the 32's i have that are broken in right now. So, i'm gonna write some reviews.

Abshire (dark blue/gray) About 2.5 inches in diameter. Pretty big! 40 g. This has lasted me a long time. Since June 32rd, 2003, to be exact. I sent it in for repairs once, but it came back one bath cleaner and with richie's new and improved filler for only $5. THis bag will probably last me another couple months or so, and then will have to join my old hermey in the graveyard. It stalls really well, and had fairly good sets for a bag of it's size. My only concern is how much it wobbles in the air if the bag has any spin on it.

Lonn (Yellow/blue/gray) about 2 inches in diameter. Bought in the spring of 2004, so it's lasted a long time. I wasn't as pleased with this bag as I was with my Abshire. It suited me fine when I was still beginning, but as I improved, I noticed it was really light. Until I added some weight to it, it was only about 23 grams. This hurt its ability to stall, though it set quite well. I added some shot to it about a month ago, and it broke the same night. I have played with some really nice lonns, but I don't think this was one of them.

Nathan  (pink/red) This bag pilled really fast!! I don't know why, but the pink seems kinda defective. The reds holding up well, but not the pink. the bag is about 1.5" and 35 grams. I like it alot, and it is about half broken in I think. I have noticed several problems with my stitching, but so far the filler seems really good. Not too heavy, not too light, and just about the right size of pellets. I hope this bag continues to increasse in playability like it has been!

A close-up of mine, because i made it!!

My shoes have been colored again. :) I didn't like the green.

hope you like the pics, bye

Thanks!

Today I had a good session. I hit this stuff

35 BOP's
plo x6
flip stepping ss mirage
drifter x7
smear>pssm>rpt x2
magellan>plo rpt
magellan>plo>pssm>smear>pssm both sides
ripwalk>drifter both sides

bold=new record

Looking back at all this stuff I hit, I would venture to say that this is the best session I've ever had. Tomorrow I'll see if my friend wants to come over to film and maybe a video will come out!

I haven't stitched in like 2 weeks. I bet I'm losing my touch. Meh, I'll force myself to tomorrow. Once I start I have fun, but its hard to make myself sit down and be quiet instead of sshredding, especially since I've been playing so well lately

I can't wait to play with people again!! I've improved so much since Funtastiks.

I really wish I was going to Worlds in Finland. Then I could play with "13 year old little Lauri"! It would be a blast to play with somebody my age who's better than I am.

I'm looking into buying a video camera to video tape myself. Iwould prefer a digital camcorder, but those are expensive!! Does anyone have suggestions for what to get without breaking the bank? (around $150-200)

I guess that's all
