some pointers on nyc:
1) in places like central park it costs astronomical fees to put stakes in the ground - problem for net
2) im not really sure if the club would want to host a tournemtn that big, i remember alex strassman saying they really wouldnt want to
3) if theyve only had one tournament (nyc footbag explosion) maybe it would be a big jump
just some thoughts, although id be down.
(ps, i saw that gates thing saturday, it was crazy)
edit: ok what the heck? i couldve sworn i responded to an erik chan post

NYC is also an overall expensive city. So lodging and food won`t be cheap either. Something to consider.
Just for the record, I also don`t see Japan being a viable option for a looooooooong time. The 3 main hindrances being:
1. Distance from US and Europe means expensive plane tickets, and more flight time (more vacation days need to be taken)
2. Once people get here, it`s wicked expensive. So only footbaggers with jobs would likely be able to afford plane ticket, lodging, and food.

ATLANTA we've got piedmont park which is freaking huge, and other facilities nearby to shred, lodging is just basic hotels, and food and stuff is reall close, tons of space to play, and i dont think you have to rent out space at peidmont, ill look into that, but atl is where it should be
I'm with Sergey...fuck adds

I agree with Tu Vu - Worlds 2006 in Berlin would be awesome. The FC Footstar is one of the biggest and most important european clubs besides
the Dictators.
Furthermore, the FIFA Soccer World Cup 2006 is in Germany, and the
matches are played in Berlin as well - great opportunity for big time
promotion!
In case they are applying, of course.
