you guys are getting me totally stoked!

I'm up to 70% sure that I will do it.

Jam style though without too much organized competition. probably at some free out door location.

If the Montana thingy is on the 1st and the other festival is on the 30th then I guess the weekend of the 14th and 15th would be the optimal date.

If Folklife is May29 to 30th then I would be stoked to go. I'd love to have an excuse to go down to Seattle and shed with the crew. In return the whole Seattle crew has to come to may daze though.

27th - 30th and yes seattle will represent hardcore at may days. bring all the victoria people you can convince down to seattle for folklife. i should have crash space. if everything works out i'll be moved into a new place may 1st so i'll have crash/party space for all. warm shower in the morning(until the warm water runs out) and several extra beds for those lucky few

It's looking good that Kimi might come. Talked to her last night about it and she seemed down. :)

Now I'm really, really stoked for this month!

Dylan,
I really appreciate you working around the jam dates layed down already.
The NorthWest will be rumbling all May with all the pounding the shredders will be doing in Seattle, Victoria, and Montana! That's crazy how many jams we are packing into one month.
I hope a couple of the Victoria/Vancouver Shredders can make it down to Montana. Any of you contemplating it?

Too many Jams, too little time. How do you get time off work for all this? How do you pay for it? Missoula, Victoria, Seattle, oh my...

If May Days gets set in stone, we should just make another topic name with "Missoula, Victoria, Seattle, oh my... " as the title, celebrating all 3 and seeing who can come.

I am mucho excited but footbinc is dam right. I can make it too Seattle of course and I have been saving money for events out of my tips for months so I can pay for all.... but work, thats going to be a bitch, I couldn't even get time off for SJFF 04 and I missed the whole fucking thing.
Its all or nothing

hey dylan do you know what the best/cheapest way to get from seattle to victoria is?

edit: we've done some research and it looks like driving up to anacortes, taking the ferry to sydney, and driving down from there is the cheapest we're gonna get. we would just take the victoria clipper but that's like $120 round trip and this way if we get 4 or 5 people it's $40 round trip.

If poeple are short on cash I put quite a few of them up for the weekend. I'll be just getting back so I'll be in my parents house but they are really cool. can probably feed you whatever they got too. haha.

of course its funny that I'm saying all this when Its not even for sure yet. the only thing holding me back is getting home in time. I need to save up for a plane ticket and fly home before May. We'll see. I'm sure it will work out because it always does.

If I get a good job in the next couple days then I will just say its for sure and put my trust in fate.

I won't need a place to crash but will probably end up on the floor of whatever house a crazy footbag party gets thrown down in.

yeah dogg

I think its time I set may days in stone.
I'll be back in time. I got lots of time.
I'll get some free outdoor location scouted out and it will just be a chillin jam. maybe we'll do most rippin run just for fun. and I'm sure there will be some partying of some sort.
all are welcome and I will do anything in my power to make your stay in sunny victoria more enjoyable, fun, and affordable.

see you all there!!
