take plyers, get a ferm grip on the nail, bit down on a book and pull one good YANK, if that dont work, go to the doctor so he can do the basicly same thing.

Eh...Teva's. I haven't had a too good experience with these sandals. They're awesome sandals and I love them to death, but not exactly the perfect "shred shoe" out there. The probably I've had is the insides and the support, since they ARE just sandals. it is pretty fun to hit something cool in them because it's like..."Hey I just hit that in sandals...CAN YOU DO THAT?!" :P

Dave Holton uses tevas i think. He was the first person to hit a 7 add (Gauntlet). Correct me if i'm wrong.

i used tevas, the toe is okay, I found the bag often got stuck between my foot and the sandal on the inside surface. Support is not good, and the buckles can be rough on your feet during freestyle. I recommend getting your toe fixed.

If you are thinking about sandals try chacos, having used tevas i can honestly say these will last 20 times longer and never chafe your skin like tevas. Plus they are hand made in the USA and have a wicked inside for stalling. That and they are really comfy cause its just one strap that is wound through the sandal morphing to your foot.

I really hate teva's

Dave Holton can hit Osis just fine in his Teva sandles. Osis, Dyno, Paradox Torque, Stepping Ducking Paradox Torque, etc. etc. (I told him once "I always know that you're going to do torque right out of your dyno." I meant that I liked the combo, and I kind of liked knowing what was coming next. He took it the wrong way and totally stopped doing that combo. I guess he thought I was saying that that combo was too predictable. I wish I hadn't said anything.)

He's not the only good shredder ever to use Teva and other similar sandles. Forest Schrodt was a good freestyler, and he played mostly in sandles.

I've kicked in Teva sandles from time to time. I find them acceptable, but I prefer Lavers. I think that, over all, the Tevas are good enough to shred in if you are committed to playing in them most of the time. I'm better in my lavers than in my tevas, but that has as much to do with the fact that I play in my lavers most of the time, and in tevas hardly ever, as it does with any basic quality problems with the Teva sandles.

One basic problem with the sandles that you may or may not find tolerable is that they seem to change the design of their sandles every year. The Pteradactyl model, for instance, is not exactly the same from one year to the next. So when you wear-out a pair, the next pair won't be quite the same as you had gotten used to. With the Lavers, at least, the shoe design is consistent from year to year.

I had an ingrown toe nail and it hurt like hell and got infected. SO if you dont do anything it will get infected. SO my doctor had to cut my legs off at the waist because I neglected it... actually he just numbed my big toe and like cut the little toe nail part off and it came back in fine.
The surgery (if you can even call it that) is not that bad...I would say get it fixed...then go with lavers :D

today, at work, lifeguarding. between swims (heh, dont worry, no one was in the pool that i was supposed to be watching) i decided to try shredding in my flip-flop type sandals. i was BLOWN AWAY. my clippers have never been so flat and clean. the only problem was the sandals slipped off a bit, but my shred was SO much cleaner. i couldnt believe it. i will post a picture of them later...

Terra FI is the bomb. I have been playing in them for 2 years. If you wear em loose you need socks. Solid support, not alot of material to mess with your toes (not like the reeboks i have now). It will frustrate you to try Osis in Lavers if you play in them. You'll notice they are lighter too. Thumbs up for Tevas!
