hey everybody...i need help.
me and my girlfriend are having this huge debate, sadly about whether its 'slice of pizza' or 'piece of pizza' (its always the random, small stuff that we fight about...i dunno) and it seems all the people where she lives say 'piece' but everyone i ask says 'slice,' including myself. so, which do YOU say??? (i would put this in the EXPERIMENT thread, but i want a lot of responses to prove my point...)

I say "piece" predominantly, but I have been known to say slice. I hear both pretty evenly, I say you're both right.

woot!
i mean really...'piece of pizza' just sounds so retarded. 'slice of pizza' sounds reasonable
but overall i think it might be a cultural thing.

well it is a piece of pizza, because it's a piece, but it's also a slice of pizza because you slice the pizza up to get the pieces, so you're both right, so stop arguing and accept the fact that you both win this one. :P

haha, if only it were that easy...
besides, i picture a 'piece' of pizza as a large hunk of pizza, torn haphazardly, possibly from the center, of the entire pie. its like...a ragged indiscriminate amount, with no particular shape, and not even necessarily containing anything resembling a crust...ok...you may be right...maybe im going overboard on this...
