So I got a chance to venture up to Kingston to shred with THE Tom Mosher, and THE Matt Cross. While I was at Tom's waiting for Matt to arrive I finished stitching up a 32 that I made on the ride there. So it turns out that this bag is completely shreddable! Nothing feels better than being able to bust with something you've made yourself. For the last week I have been playing exclusively with that bag, and I can honestly say its the best 32 I've owned as of yet.
Anyway, Tom, like usual, was a pleasure to shred with, just dripping with not only sweat, but POSITIVE ENERGY. I love it. And the last time I played with Matt was Funtastik 03'. It was really great to just relax, shred, and talk a bit with someone who you haven't seen in a while. I love sessions like this but at the same time they help me realize how much it sucks not being able to make it out to Jams and Tourneys more often. (Everyone better watch out for Tom's footbagging apprentices!)
That is why I'm pretty psyched about the next month or so. Next weekend is an Ontario Jam of sorts held right here in my own city. Then there is holidays. I'll be getting some money from the extra hours I'll be putting in and I hope to buy some facile so I can start selling bags, I know I'm ready. And I'm going to get a new computer so I can start editing some video and pumping it out like mad! I shred for about 10 hours this weekend and hopefully I'll only be able to put in more hours in the next two weeks. I am preparing for GLASS do I don't completely suck when I show.
Ramble, ramble...
Who's interested in some Süderbags? I just want to know what to expect here. And if you are interested what colors would you most likely buy, so I know what color facile to get. I was thinking about selling for about 20 a bag, until I get a bit more experience. But I just finished up my 8th 32 and I can't see anything wrong with it, and its already shreddable.
THE BAG
Thankyou Adam! You are like my footbagging godfather, who shreds with me, drives me to shreds, and bought the facile to start me stitching!
Who's all coming to glass?

I really need to post in this blog more. It's like a bi-yearly thing I've got going on now. *sips Jones*
So what's happened. I got to do a solo session with Mosher. It was pretty fun. I took the train there early in the morning, and then when I got there we watched some footbag videos. We attempted to watch ThomASS's Worlds DVD but that didn't seem to want to work, so we popped in the Champions League. All that Vasek shred made be feel sick to my stomach. Soon enough we were barefoot sessioning in his living room, and then we slowly moved into the garage. The session we had there was nice and long. By the end of it my insole was popping out of my shoe and I was realllly sore. I've got some good string of Moshers. Now I've got a firewire card I might make a Tom Mosher special. Anyway we Rock Paper Scissors'ed for some burgers, and soon enough we were rushing to make it to the train station on time. That is one talented man, unrolling the window, lighting a joint, speeding, and rolling through stop signs all at the same time! Thanks for getting me there on time mosher!
So I got some shoe goe to repair the damage done to my lavers! Damn that shit works. The sole on my lavers are perfect now after onlyabout 3 hours of working and drying. And I don't even need to break in new lavers. I bet I will own this pair for years! For only about 10 CDN a tube, I think more people should consider this when looking for a cheaper alternative to new lavers. It also doubles as a footbag repair kit. Dab a bit of that on your footbags and they are as good as new!
I've been shredding more than usual since the Christmas break has started. Why? I thought I was going to go to CP with Mosher and the gang. But those plans fell through on my end when I realized that I had already made plans for new years. I'll get out of Ontario sooner or later for a jam.
I've stitched a few more bags, and I've been shredding with them regularly, but I still venture away from 32's every once and a while when I'm feeling really lazy. What can I say, I'm a slacker!
Introducing the Random Johnny Video Collection: I, II, III, IV
I took this footage from a 45 or so minute session I had today. Please comment. I hope you enjoy them. I got a firewire card for christmas so in about 2 weeks time there should be some high quality footage of Jorden and myself online.
Yay new tricks!
For Christmas I got the official Rock-Paper-Scissors handbook! Its hard to tell if they are serious or not from some of the things they say. I think there is a bit of strategy to it though.
Peace to all footbaggers everywhere.

Johnny you are shockingly good!
I love the power of your style, it's really exciting to watch you shred!
I clicked through the fairy legbeater again in amazement, it is so clean and precise.
Was that frantic in the 3rd video? Craaazy.
I am such a fan of all things Johnny, I can't wait to have a Suderbag of my own one day. I look forward to shredding with you again Johnny.

Thanks for the comments!
Sadly enough Matt, I can't make it to CP. I'm sure there will be some other time we can shred. And Seath, we live in the same Province and we still havent shred. Its been WAY too long. I should journey up to Ottawa sometime soon. Maybe kingston?
I'm stitching a bag right now! Its going to be really sexy. Soccerball style with white pents and salmon hexs. My last bag died on me because I was shredding it way too hard. It was such a nice bag too. RIP
On a happier note, I got to shred with Jarrett today for 5 or so hours. He wasn't feeling up to par, because of a cold or something. I was surprised to see him still busting. That dude can barrage now.
(It seems like everyone can barrage nowadays.) I didn't hit anything mind blowing, but I did get in some first try Fusing Butterfly action. High Plains was a new one for me today, and it was getting really easy by the end. Damn that move is hot. Too bad my flipside was the shit on this move. I tried so much tohit it and I just couldn't. Ask Jarrett it was driving me mad. Luckily I schooled it for an hour or so, and now its tons easier. I just wasn't jumping into the move like I should have been.
*waits for shoe-goe coat 5 to dry*
