Every time I visit modified and there's a new post in this thred, I keep expecting there to be something stupid I've said, in here.

Most of the time negotiation and compromise is better than directly opposing something and gets much better results - this is why everybody should study history and politics.
Way to completely "sell out" ;-] I like how you completely changed your hardline stance. It seems as if compromise is better when it gets better results for you.

honestly....i was thinking the same thing! its cool to be able to make a point and then be able to close the thread so no one can say anything back...not that im encouraging the argument to move into THIS thread, because then this one would get locked too...anyway, the debate is just dead anyway.

Please name any countries you know with currently active footbag players living in them (net or freestyle). I will add them to this list as posted:

New Zealand
America (how many countries is this counted as? North South... Texas?)
Canada
Finland
...
Thanks for making my day.

From the addiction thread. That last sentance is just awesome, simply awesome.

i always assume that taking a big poo (where it hurts abit) is like the reverse of what anal rape would feel like. you know, with it going in instead of coming out. i don't wanna know what anal rape feels like and just big poos make me cringe.

Mike I think you misunderstood what I was saying. I was saying that rather than trying to stop ace footbags from selling footbags - I am trying to get them to stop selling pakistani made bags - and replace them with my bags. I don't think I'm selling out at all - Ace Footbags will make as much money selling my bags as it does selling the pakistan bags, they will have much higher quality bags (and not because my bags are particularly good - but the pakistani bags are not great at all) and I will no longer being sponsored by a company that may support child labour.

I know that by simply boycotting ace footbags - I can have no impact at all - I have discussed the issue and cannot convert the person to my beliefs - but I can offer a win win solution where Ace Footbags continues to have a strong business and I can feel better about being sponsored and supporting Ace Footbags.'

I don't think I benifit that much from having Ace footbags sell my bags - as yet I have had no trouble selling bags at all - and considering Ace is getting a cut from the bags they sell - I get less for the bags I sell through Ace than directly. It is more convienient for me - but that's not a big deal either way.

I still feel strongly about child labour and do not support it at all. I also feel that my deal with ace footbags is taking business away from the pakistani companies that make shitty footbags that could be made with child or bonded labour and that I am not selling out my morals at all.

I hope you understand what I'm saying and it makes sense.

Makes perfect sense to me. You hate child labor (or 'labour' in Australian  ) so you revert to out and out capitalism to solve the issue. What's not to understand?
