Request: Rain City Shred footage!!

I want to see RCS footage!

It doesn't have to be a big production (though I wouldn't be against one) just some video of your world renowned long bothsided strings with a firm confident grasp on the basics.

I hope to see you rise to this challenge like we did to yours!

As soon as Dan and I have a session or two more we'll throw something together (this has been the plan, it's just that Dan's been getting hit by all sorts of shit lately).

Yea, it's pretty amazing. From trying to lift more weights than I should, to getting the flu, to having to go to Tolo, to getting a head cold; I've been pretty fucked up lately.

But yea, another virus hit me yesterday so I'm down for a little while longer. It isn't as bad as the last one, so I should be up and kicking pretty soon (Saturday I hope).

This has definitely been an off season for RCS. With Ricky and his glass knee and my never healing sciatic nerve neither of us has played seriously in well over 5 months (that is way too long to not play in footbag time). Miles has left to become a monk and many of our other regulars have graduated H.S. or gotten jobs so they cannot shred regularly. I am soooo thankful that Sam P. has stepped up to represent the hein that we turn out up here. Both Ricky and I estimate it will take at least another year to recover from these injuries. But just wait, oh yes, 2006/2007 will be the year of our return. We'll get all that footage you seek.

hey.... i discovered alot of it isn't good, probbaly because it was me, and it takes a lot more work then im into right now to watch the like hour of video and crop it out. and the files really big. so unless someone wants it so they can make a film im not sure im down for making it. if enough of you want it maybe but im hella busy rite now... and i need to start praticing again cause im not good.

Hey Andrew, You ought to come down to Olympia next time the Seattlites come down for a session...or take the ferry across and kick at the downtown Y.

Definitley be at Folklikfe Festival this year - the word on the street is that it's going to be more epic than usual with some special guest appearances from far away places

right Sam?! right Scott?! THere's a girl named Alex on the penninsula that has lavers and got into kicking last summer...you should hook up with her for a session. I can't remember her email, but you can look her up in the Shreditas forum...she has posted there a few times. Also, check out footbag.org for other shredders in your area if you haven't already.

Hey RCS - any idea when the monkey gets back from Idaho?

I think he's back at the end of April, though I don't have a clue if he'll start playing again (we can hope..!). Also, Andrew, you should talk to Dan Fearey (bainbridgeshred) about sessions in that area. Though, he comes to Saturday sessions in the city, too, so you should probably just head by Seattle.

Player, you need to hook up with me and Justin Stephonson . We kick usually 2-3 times a week alternating between Silverdale/Poulsbo/Bainbridge Island. I met a girl last weekend (Coming back from a shred session believe it or not) who said Port Orchard was like 2 hours away from Bainbridge. She was a moron so she could've totally been off, but if that is the case, 2 hours awawy would only be like 1 hour away from Silverdale which is definetaly do-able! Come kick with me and Justin sometime dude! Kitsap County is starting to have such a scene, fuck Seattle man!

The Mountlake Crew has been trying to film sessions but we arn't good enough to put online sadly.... plus we don't kick as much as we should together, its all solo kicking lately (the past "since last october"). mIss you guys though, Dan, I hope you make a KILLER video.

We also have to get Ben to kick more often, sombody call that foo up.
