Not really a tourny but still phat....

Post by jonzy »

Rob and Brian came down to kelowna the last three days of christmas holidays, or at least the last three for me. It was soooooooo rad. Brian was busting super long strings all day, so both sided. And that crazy atomic backside toe blur thing he was tryin....... 8O .
Rob had to go and be a mofo and hurt his ankle the first day, jk, it was a crazy bail, and he still busted huge the next day. He his scorpions tail>scorpions tail mid string, SMOG>PIGBEATER, and tons of super long runs and i saw him have blurriest>gyro dlo on his foot!!!. Jeff was late the first day cuz he had to go and watch frikkin hockey, but he still came out to play so its all good. Jeff had some really long runs, and i think he hit somethin like paralax>toe set whirl>pdx torque, im not sure what the first move was but it was either a gyro or spinning pickup or legover. Broc was hittin new stuff all over the place, all both sides as usual, i think he had symposium mirage both sides and osis dragon both sides. As for moi, i had some okay runs and i hit void and vortex>pdx blender :D

Thats all i can remember, rob and brian can elaborate on what they remember.
There are more important things in life than footbag, o wait, my bad.

ooooo ok

I think that session sounds like it was fun. But why would jeff want to miss out on footbag for a hockey game (junior you say?). Those combos are sick - blurriest>gyro dlo. Scorpions tail>scorpions tail. Thats too bad that you hurt your ankle Rob but it's good that you still got to play the next day. What was the said bail? What are jobs for void? Osis dragon? that sounds weird. Reminds me of Jon Schneider (one of my favorite freestylers now heh)

That so reminded me of the intro on Beavis and Butthead Virtual Stupidity:
Drive thru customer makes order and then says "did you get that"
Butthead:"hu hu uhhh no "
Beavis: "heehee thank you drive thru"

Do they put something in the water up there in Canada, anyone canadian and footbag oriented seems to be insanely good.
