so today, it was kinda a lay back day for school so I had shits of time to do nothing but footbag. so I started on a new bag and did these:

Flipside Mirage
Mirage
ATW even more solid
Pixie Sets (strong side only)
clipper flipside and put all this crap into strings just to see if they be running smoothly yet.

hm I never really had to think about which way to move the hip. I don't think atw relies all that heavily on the hip motions. But I'm guessing whatever motion you do for in > out you can do for out > in since it's the same weight distribution and you're using the same leg. . just a different direction of dexterity. Meh?

It's kinda hard to avoid the wrinkles, I am still in the process of getting them out of my bags too.

I think it is a matter of really paying attention to how the stitches line up and the forces you are putting on the panel as you get it lined up for stitching.

Good luck man! And post some pictures of your bags!!

so again, finished another bag late at night so I was friggin' tired and accidentally popped a hole through the facile....well that was cleaned up using freesole and I have to admit even though the glass is murder on facile, it's one of the best fillers I've used it's soo oooo o o o o o oo oooo o o oo oo o o close to the abshire fell but I think that steel shot would even that just about out.......whoa....anyways, my bags are still in the experimental stage........my double stitching and whatnot.....uhhh.....ok I need help:

Illusion

I've hit mirage really quite well now..it's kinda my favorite trick..but does one need to learn fairy for illusion? just to like, get the dexing thing down?

:D Illusion, you say? well now.

Fairy is helpful because you can practice exaggerating the out > in dex that is oh so very a part of the illusion. All I can tell you is that when you set the bag up in front of you (keep it straight), make a big swoop swap (we like the swap) motion with your leg and almost curl you leg at the knee and shove the leg back under the bag as it's falling. That's my attempt at describing the exaggeration that people need to do with illusions. People do the dex too thin for such a basic move and it doesn't need to be. Keep it big and goofy looking and after a while it'll be so easy that you don't think as much as you would in a mirage. You can just tell your leg to almost "flop" over it lazily. Just push it and assume that the dex will be clean and whip the leg around it. But exaggerate first. Then do the second after a while. Have fun. ILLUSION. Now you see it? Now you don't. Whoosh. Like that.

You know what? I suck at explaining the illusion. Um . . You should watch people do illusions for a while visualize yourself doing it that way. But still keep in mind you have to do the dex as big as possible at first. That'll only help in the long run. And thanks for the shocked faces. It made me happy. 8O

ok. no illusion today but just some kicking.........MINUTES before I left for school, I finally finished experimental bag number 6. this one's using various thread and whatnot........god it's a fucking frankenstien...or a frankenstein....I don't know what to call him...I'd love to post a pic but I'm too fat and lazy to buy a digital camera or borrow one to show all you guys........oh well

not much shred today......mirage is so sweet but it's hindered when I wear baggy-ass pants. I lost my Mr. Sandbag today when we were kicking because some kid just ran over, grabbed it and took off....I gues that's why I still have two of them left..I guess I better buy one more just in case........and uh..................I'm trying to make naother bag but my mom's fed up with all the facile going to waste and such and such and that i don't lsiten anymore and yadda....i wasn't really listening. Anyways, that's about it.....uhhhhh it was a terribly shitty day as April didn't get much done footbag...uhhhh......................gonna make more bags.......less shitty bags..................school tricks..............................................................................................not lose bags.............

I just had a random thought:

All my footbag brings all the boys to the yard
and they're like, are they better than yours?
and I'm like they're better than yours
I'd stitch for you but i'd have to charge.......

oh my god this is so gay.

wow I haven't blogged in a while.

Here's the dealio:

I've been making bags lately.......but my attempt at a "coach bag" coloed bag (light-ass blue and tan) ended upw ith no dice........so dang. But Now I'm making one out of Orange and Blue..........which would be awesome to see once completed so I'll take care of aking this bag.......april's been really kicking with us lately......she's mad hot. Keeping on track, I'm trying to find parts for my goddamn strat but I can't find bridge pieces anywhere.....crap. I've hit mirage on command now.....I love that trick like Chinatown........Flipside is almost just as good without much schooling. I really have to learn all dexes and flipside ATW's, then legovers, the pixies both sides and then fairies......story of my life. I honestly love footbag......but playing music has gotten so much in the way.. I just need to make more time for both........more time god dang-diddly, AW HELL DIDDLY DING DONG CRAP!

I Can't do it!

hmmmmm.............maybe I shouldn't stalk TOO much.......

Dude, good luck with the April thing but since she into footbag do you think it's a good idea to leave her photo up on a footbag site that she might see? If I was her and I read all the nice thing you said I would be flatter. If I saw my picture up I would be scared.......

No offence that just how I would see it from a girls view point.....

Your still pimp!
I think I going to take over Canada. You should help.
