i had a cigarette today. i was shredding after work, which seemed extra stressful today for some reason, but shouldn't have been. either way, i had one after my session, and now i have the worst stomach ache ever. i don't know if it's guilt or what, but i really don't want to feel like this again. so this lapse in will power has once again helped to strenghten my resolve to quit forever. i feel like i'm going to throw up, so it looks like was over the physical addiction. i just need to strengthen my mental game now and force my self to not let this happen again. i need to keep telling my self it's the best thing for me, health and shred wise. it will get easier, i will be able to relax with out cigarettes, and i will never smoke again!

with the money you save by not buying cigarettes, you could make more trips to ontario for random footbag sessions. or things a little more important to you, like a titanium brief case for all your possesions that need to be protected.(lavers, footbags, video camera, lucky shred shorts)
good luck quitting.

And with the damage you aren't doing to your lungs, tongue, vocal chords etc. you'll probably live 5-10 years longer than you would and you wont have to have major removal surgery of any internal organs. You probably wont breathe through a hole in your neck, you wont need an artificial larynx to comunicate with other people,AND, you probably wont be one of the 33% of people who die from a cigarette-related illness. YAY you! Really, it is a good decidision to stop now before you really harm your body. I am happy for you because it sounds like something you want to do. Thats good.

i had a small surgery today. i had a scist (sp?) removed from my cheek. it was benign (sp? fuck i should start looking up werds (sp?)), aka not cancerous, since i had it checked out over a year ago. i was on medication to reduce it, but it wasn't doing anything, so i had it removed. it didn't look that big, but was totally full of stuff. the doctor made one teeny tiny incision and it like half exploded of thick puss like stuff. the thing was like a can of shaving foam, it doesn't look like there's alot in there, but that's only because it's all under pressure. it just kept coming out. i asked him at one point if he was done, seeing a ton of the stuff on tray from under my paper cloth to which he said "about half" which freaked me out a bunch! any way, i'm sure this isn't creating nice visuals for any one...
shred has been alright recently. my knee is hurting me again, so i'm going to make a physio appointment. i kicked with mike tuesday and tonight. he hasn't really lost much since the summer, which is pretty amazing since he hasn't really kicked since september. i'm rather sad, he's moving out to lake louise for a year. we've been really good friends since 7th grade. i dunno how i'm going to handle him being gone for a full year. he has his oging away party tomorrow night, and he leaves saturday. i plan on getting super pissed with him and sending him on his way propper. i'll be fucked for work on saturday morning, but i think the crew will understand. god knows i have had to put up with them coming into work still drunk from the night before on more than on occasion... yes, Andrew Campbell, you rock star, i'm talking about you!
on the hole, work sucks ad i don't want to talk about it.
it's been a while since i have written any music, but this week a wrote a few new songs. i have found some one to collaborate with, and we are going to record an album of sorts. mostly hip hop and electronic stuff. i'll be on vocals and paul's going to be on the instruments. i'll be writing most of the vocals and we will work on the music from there. that's what i have found to work the best for me. some times i hear music and too often think adding vocals would kill it. it's been so long since i have performed any music, and even longer since i have recorded any, i'm both nervous and excited...
i realized i should have been born in the early 50's. the 90's and 00's just aren't my times.
i'm really excited for japan. it's gonna rock my socks off!

Hey, Just want to let everyone know that it's my fault that Andrew hasn't put out the GLASS vid yet... he's waiting for me to send him my tapes. I'm truly sorry, I didn't have the time. But now I do, so it will be sent to him very soon. If you wanna bitch at anyone, let it be me. Sorry everyone.

Three hour shred session tonight. Probably the most fun session I've ever had in terms of abusing my body. AG is the insanity factor +10. He hit Atomic Dlo, crazy amounts of smoke and fume(?) Upon request hit flurry>double switch over>parradon, such a sick looking combo. I hit phoenix>reaper. I also hit for the first time, fog and r.whirling swirl.
Some nice lady came and watched us for 10 minutes. She asked a lot of questions about the game and tournies. She told us she has a son that likes hacky sack and hes 20. Piff! She left, then came back.....
Then started asking more questions.... this time about school and our lives. I felt like she was gonna ask us to do a demo at her church or something. Then she gave us 3 $ for 2 pepsi and disapeared into the night. Free Pepsi tastes good.

Indeed. Who are you by the way? You should put your full name in your signature, that way people will know who you are when you meet them at tournies.J-Dub wrote: Free Pepsi tastes good.
As for the whole Andrew Grant quitting modified... does this mean that he will no longer check the site? What about his PMs? If anybody knows the answers to these questions for sure, please enlighten me. Since he`s visiting Japan in late April, its very important that I have a way to stay in contact with him. Any information is very much appreciated.

alright alright alright, a quick little update for my adoring fans since i'm on the slightly injured list and i got time to do some posting...
been schooling various downtime stuff recently on my own and laying it down after sets when shredding with JDub. was mostly working whirls and drifters the last little while. i've since started working my DLO's and a bit on the ol' egg beaters.

i'd been on a plateau since november my knee started acting up and i'd had various injuries since then, but in the last 2 or 3 weeks (aka since i quit reading modified) i've been playing much more and progressed past my plateau. i have a teeny tiny muscle tear in my calf that started hurting last sunday, so i have been taking it easy since then, but i plan to get into playing tomorrow since it feels just fine now. keep kicking.
