i definately do not recommend in using liquid soap at all. Because it can be hard to get the residue back out of the bag again and when it dries, it becomes all hard, and even though if you do rinse it heaps to get the soap out, it still takes longer than a soap bar. Ive used mild soap bar for yonks on my abshire, and still soft as hell.
When u use soap, just rub the outside, dont squish the bag too much. Then when u rinse, wash as much of it off as much as possible and then squeeze the bag until the bag is airless, rinse the bag again, squeeze. Keep doing this until u dont see any white soapyness dripping from the bag. It should be soapy free and a nice kind of rubbery feeling (which means its clean).
Give this a go.

NOTE: again, I'll let you all know how the fabric-softener idea goes, I think it should be a good idea

), I have fabric-sofinated my 32 Abshire...and MAN am I happy with the results!

People, fabric-softener is the way to go. My bag is now softer and more..."floppier". WOOT WOOT, fabric-softener.
