ADIDAS, Club Crest (PICS)

Post by Atom »

i was walking through one of the local flee markets and walked past an adidas shoe box and of course I had to check it out. as soon as I saw the outside of the shoe i knew it was lavers ( i went ape-shit that i found a pair in a flee market) but I was wrong!! they are as close to lavers as the nantese or milleniums. basically they have the same layout, and they are mesh. but they have three stripes on both sides, and the sides of the sole doesn't have strips, but one deep gouge that runs from heel to toe.
blah blah blah....anyway so basically a unique mesh laver, size 9, pretty cheep. anyone interested. i can't find a size 9 footbag player in the brantford area.

did you buy 'em already, or are you just saying you could buy 'em for us if we asked?

I have a pair of lavers, but i'm looking for a shoe I can leave unmodded and just wear around to be 24/7 shred-ready.

I'm flat broke so I haven't bought them yet. they say adidas "club crest" on the box but I can find no such shoe online in my limited search. pics will come in like a week after I buy em and take the pics. i am really hoping to find someone local to sell them too because we can't just buy mesh lavers around here....anyway um give me until next wed. to have some pics. (chances are i'll get johnny to post um just so you know).

Here you have it folks. The adidas club crest.

Image
Here you can see the super cup like insides. I'd say that they are flat but then I'd be lying. It seems like that have a real sweet spot, although I wouldn't know because I haven't played in them.

Image
Removable insoles. None of that glueing the insole to the shoe crap.
Image
The material around the ankle is super soft, unlike the standard laver leather. You can see the orgasmic fluffiness.
Image
No need to cut the stitches to lift up the walls of these shoes, straight from the box they were open, and the material is reinforced so that it doesn't fray like mad, like some lavers can.
Image
The toe on these shoes is extremely flat, so I don't see a need for any lacing mods.

The sweet spot.

MMM MMM GOOD.

From what I've seen these shoes wouldn't need any mods. The stripes could be removed from the insides of course but they are soo thin I don't see the purpose. These shoes are extremely light, and the sole is about 1/4-1/2 of the thickness of the sole of a pair of new lavers. The outside material is more like a fish net material, because the holes in the material are bigger, if the inside was removed these shoes would be have some really nice feel to them, not that they don't already though.Anyway, yea, thats the Club Crest. Too bad they are so rare...
