Insoles
Most players would agree that insoles are a good addition to your freestyle equipment, but most do not agree on the type of insole that is the best. I'm a big fan of SuperFeet, but I don't think they focus support on the ball of the foot enough to be the best for our sport. Please post Insoles that you support (ha ha) with links to pictures and more info. Thanks!!
these work
these
don't stay in place during shred, but could be with some adhesive now that i think abou tit.

I just recently got these...I shredded for an hour and a half and my leg didn't ache like it normally does after about 30 minutes or less. IT'S GREAT!!! Notice it says it's for "high impact activities"....high impact IS footbag.

I found that these stayed in place if I placed them under my other insoles. End of shin splints for me, never came back when I stopped using them.Tsiangkun wrote:these don't stay in place during shred, but could be with some adhesive now that i think abou tit.

Yes, I would say that is contributing a lot to your knee problems. You can pick up insoles at a pharmacy, and most sports stores carry insoles as well.Larson wrote:I am wondering if a lack of insole could be contributing to the problem. Where can I find some good insoles.
Me personally, I have two insoles in my Lavers. Dr. Scholls Athletic insoles and the factory made ones. It's a bit tighter fit for my foot, but I think it's a necessary procedure to be able to play the way I have been.
Does anybody else do this as well?

I got Dr. Scholls insoles from CVS but they arent supporting my toes and the front of my feet. Any suggestions?!

I agree with Ted. The metatarsal insoles are great, just slide em in under your other insoles, and you're set. Good players mostly play on the balls of the feet, so it makes sense to get insoles that focus on that spot. Look at a pair of lavers after a couple years. The heel is fine, its the toes that get worn down.
