modify converse

Post by Flippy »

i just got a pair of converse and i got a good idea. i bet if you cut off the wihte parton the front, the toe box would be awsome for stalls, etc. also the sides too. but my pair are brand new and i'd rather not cut it up and stuff. :)

... hate u dissapoint u but if i belive right, that rubber is all thats there, there isnt any thing under it... so u could have some cool shoes for toe grabs and stuff, think u will never have to bend over to pick up your bag. and i dont think the toe box would be all that great ither. there are lots better shoes that u could find an im not talking the comen shoes. look at footlocker or some shoe website. look at all the tennis shoes there are alot of tennis shoes that are realllllll shreadabule like im not worryed about lavers running out at all, im sure i could find a replace ment in my local mall! if i had too. but till then i prefer lavers :)

My friend Clayton used to shred in converse, he boiled them to get the plastic toe off I think, but then the material underneath was all torn and weak. After a few months the shoes almost totally fell apart.

I started with cons, they weren't too bad for toe set and clipper stuff, i can't see them being great for an other set though. When they were laced up like lavers there was a great pocket right behind the plastic bit that was a breeze to stall..... but now i use lavers. If you've got lavers don't bother with the cons.

Yeah I started with chucks and still wear them..but the insides are to skinny to do any inside stalls nicely.

Only lavers to shred in and chucks to bum around in...unless of course I am wearing my lavers. :D
