crispy back in the day was only used to describe a torque where the set was more like stepping osis as opposed to the cooler look where you "jump" you mirage and turn over the bag at the same time..
It wasn't until the contreversy about gyro with a plant not existing that everyone starting to call other moves with a plant crispy.
Thats how i remember it anyway.
