First he wasn't tall, he is uber thin, yes his converse had no insides and were duct taped, and he hit scorpions tail, did you miss that one? Nick says it wasn't clean, but hell it looked good to me

Everyone one said it was cleean, but I have a hard time judging how clean my DOD's are. I never actually landed fairy same barroque or spinning barroque for that matter, but I came close. I've also got some new modded Nastase's and they help... A LOT! I'm discussing the trip with the parents now, and I'll talk to Red and the crew when they get back from Colorado.

I won't truely know until about a month before.

Scott, is it still cool if I stay at your place, seeing as where thats were the party is at? Sleeping bag, ghost stories, smore's and midnight sessions.

The Portland crew will definitely be representing in Seattle. Noah, myself, a young freestyler named Jake Wren, and P-town's new golden boy "Slick" Nick Landes will be there. Should be good times.

How long do you plan on being there red, cuz my dad said as long as I get a ride I can go. So maybe I can hitch a ride with you both ways, but if not I can find another way. Oh yeah, and how long do you plan on staying for?

Just to clarify for everyone, the Festival is technically four days. However, it's Friday through Monday. On Friday most people don't show up at the festival (people as in everyone in the city who attends) until after three or four or so due to work and school. Saturday and Sunday both run the entire days, and on Monday I think there may be some sort of holiday so people will show up for the day but may or may not stay for very late due to later obligations. Scott, is all of that right?

Anyway, as to footbagging and the festival, last year we played all four days, and I suspect the same will occur this year. There will be crash space for all four days, as well. If you show up for all of the days, shred will go down.

Looking forward to seeing you all!

Peace,

My cell phone number is 384-0873. I'm going to be there all 4 days, so I should have some idea what's going on. You'd probably be better off with Scott's though.

Don't worry about numbers, yet. Send me (sam at djhex dot com) an e-mail or someone else a week or two before you show up, though, and we'll give you directions to crash space so everything runs smoothly.

the festival is all 4 days. monday is memorial day. people can stay as long as they want. i don't have a cell phone unfortunately but don't worry about it yet. i would like to know which days people plan on attending? i was thinking that maybe friday could just be a chill day at my place with people arriving. throw down some four square, some warm up shred for the weekend, etc, but if everybody gets there and wants to go to the festival we can do that too. i was thinking this way you don't have to worry about finding parking at the festival and stuff and you don't have to worry about getting there on time or anything, just trickle in throughout the day(feel free to show up in the middle of the night). then saturday, sunday, and monday we'd all take the bus there and back. this way we don't have to find parking which will be hard and will more than likely have to pay a ton for. it's about a 35 min bus ride from my house, but with all of us on there to entertain eachother it'll go by really fast. that's just kinda how i picture it, it's negotiable though. also when it's getting a bit nearer i will email/pm everybody all of the important info (maps, addresses, phone numbers etc). if i do it now you'll all lose it and you know it =P i know i would

Hey,
Maybe you northwesters can help me with this. I am taking attendance of how many active freestyle groups there are in the nw area. I have a pretty good idea, but there is one spot I have not heard from in a while; Olympia. Does anyone know if there is still a club there, or if anyone still practices..? Contact people? I am thinking Kevin Richie or Matt Baker are still part of the scene, but have not been in touch with them in awhile. Some of the info on Footbag.org doesn't appear to be up to date. I am collecting info for a website I am building. Anyone have any knowledge? Thanx guys.
