If I had goofed up in highschool and established I was not able to do the work expected of me, I would have spent a long time trying to overcome a bad record instead of starting on a career path directly.

That is 100% correct, high school is actually easy as you say. It's just outside influences that make that bad record occur. I am struggling to graduate, credit-wise that is. I really wish I could have taken your route,

but when personal stuff happens, it makes it hard to make it like you. You are very lucky IMO, to have a good, easy life

I got a friend that does footbag shows during school assemblies and he teaches like 20-30 kids too. Talk about popularity of the sport at that school

when im at school my footbag is in my locker so i dont use it during classes. Instead, i try toe stalls and atw's with an eraser or something hehe

I don't know if Im weird or something, but usually in class I spend most of my time paying attention to what the teacher is saying, taking notes, and trying to learn? Is this totally crazy?

Well, i pay attention in classes where I have to. Like in my german class if I zone out, I get in trouable. But in my biology class where there 100+ stundents and nobody cares if I pay attention so I usally don't.
I think I going to take over Canada. You should help.

the teachers started cracking down on wat "non school related websites" so i guess this scratches out modified and school for me. theres really nothing else to do scinse the footbaggers are a dying breed at our school. theres only like 3 devoted footbaggers here now.

I can`t believe all the negative responses. I love high school! High School rocks! I spend most of my time online writing mails, checking modified, watching footbag videos, reading about the NBA, etc. I spend a lot of time just writing in my journal or reading books. I go to about 3 classes a day, explain some stuff, then *bam* I get to play basketball after school, or I go home and footbag. High School rocks!

thats because you are a teacher correct? I think before you posted you're living in japan teaching english? Do the japanese pick up our language very quickly? I dated a girl for a while that was japanese and I could never understand a word out of her family members mouths.

Good song ... but what was the point of that? ... j/k.

Seriously though, you leaving the scene, or lack of in your words, is a loss. you made awesome shred videos like vasek 100bars and the cali and euros ones and that one of jim penske, NBK was also really freaking awesome, and it was also my first shred video which I bought. Well thanks for everything. Laterz!

Hey Windsor, I think you need to get over it. What difference does it make to you where, how, and with whom people choose to live their lives. Stop trying to blame your problems and take out your frustrations on others.

I also think what anyone who decided to play footbag or keep playing footbag for "girls and money" is completely naïve and foolish. If you want the companies, the sponsors, and the ladies, go out and get them.

As for Steve, I'm not quite sure which awards you are jealous of. The only thing I could find is that he won the "Mike Marshall Award" on two different years for the service and work he has put into organizing and advancing the sport. An award is only as meaningful as the people who give it; it is a simply a sign of recognition on their part. And you ask why anyone would want to recognize him despite his inability to hit 15 unique fearless on command? I'm guessing it is in part for the thousands of thankless hours he's put into the sport over the years, for organzing and running Western Regionals for god knows how many years, for organizing and running World Footbag Championships, for donating countless dollars to make these events happen, for accommodating players at his house, for sponsoring and flying players across the World to events, for organizing footbag.org, for continuing to show up at all the major events around the world, and the list goes on. I think Steve has "so many awards" because there are people respect and appreciate the work he does. What have you done? Why aren't you organizing any tournaments in California instead of complaining about not having any?

If you don't like TotT2, make a better one. How about stitching your own bags to sell if you can't deal with Richie's price?

I think you'd be best off to quit your whining.
