RIT Spring Juggle-In meets GRASS
The RIT Spring Juggle-In event is scheduled for May 6th-8th. This is usually a large juggling event that brings all sorts of talent. Current juggling performers include.
Luke Burrage (United Kingdom): Winner of 2004 IJA People's Choice Award
Malte Steinmetz (Germany): Circomedia graduate and internationally renowned performer
Wesley Peden (USA): 2004 IJA Juniors Gold Medal Winner
Dave Nager (USA): Winner of the 2004 IJA 3 Ball Open
Cécile Poncet (France): Circus Space graduate and former Gandini Juggling Project member
http://www.rit.edu/~jugwww/ - Event site for the juggling club.
http://www.rit.edu/~arm2318/imm/RITFA/grass.html - GRASS site, updated April 2nd.
What I need to know now is who is interested in coming?
As of now I can tell you that there will be open and intermediate routines, shred 30, and most likely sick 3. Prizes of some sort and all that other stuff that comes with events, shirts, music, lots of shred, some of the best juggling talent in the world, and a great time.
For Lodging the juggling site has listed a bunch of avaible places, but after we get some numbers we might be able to get some discounts with one of them. As well as the hotel/motel I have some floor space, and there are some other footbaggers in Rochester that are probably willing to take on a few people.
Opinions, questions, complaints... post them here. In the next week or 2 more information will be added here.
(edit) - added footbag event website
(edit 3/21) - added some directions, and registration form (please fill out if you are attending).

YES!!! it makes me so excited to see this!!!!!
There will be HOARDS of jugglers from EVERYWHERE!!!
we are going to be a massive explosion of footbag, most of them will have never seen anything like it, they're going to LOVE us. This is a long-standing event at RIT... I hope PETER IRISH will make it to show them his juggling skills...
EVERYONE has to come, early may is the best time of the entire year for footbag. This event is going to rock. We're going to shred it up, party it down, and I hope all those freestylers who play music bring their instruments, because I'm going to get some serious jams going. I want to see faces from PA, TO, NYC, KFM, MSW, EVERYONE!!!!!
I"M SO EXCITED!!
(crash space available for 1-2 on couch and 2-3 on floors at my place)

I'm really interested in this! It's the weekend RIGHT after finals so I'll no doubt be looking for something fun to do being stress free. I've been hearing about a jam in Rochester since Funtastik so I'm down for some shred with it's crew.
I always have a sleeping bag in my car so floor space of any kind is greatly appreciated.

DAVE... reschedule man! that sux...
Nick Greyhound will get you like 10-15 minutes away from RIT's campus. The station is right in the middle of the city. You should also drag the rest of the Montreal crew down with you.. even if it means tying them up and dragging them
.
As an update things are all go, and I'm free to plan the event anway I please. The juggling coordinator wants us to tie together as much as possible! It gunna be sweet.
There is supposed to be around 200 jugglers at this event most of which have no idea what footbag is. I'm guessing a large amount of these people are going to have an enthusiastic response to footbag, and will want bags. I'm asking that anyone that can stitch decent 4 panel bags to please donate a few bags to the cause of expanding our sport. It would mean a lot to the sport and to me and RFA. Any considerable donation will not go with out reimburstment. Thank you for any help you can lend.

Also I don't feel like posting elsewhere so; I hereby declare my attendance in Helsinki and probably that thing up in Rochester as well.
Much Fun
YESSSSS!!!!
and in response to all the other confirms in this thread...
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!@!!!!!!!
I can't wait. Whoever wants to crash at my place, PM me... preference goes to the Kingston crew, and Nick Laroche... just because
I'm going to put out another call for a one-color "footbag in a strip of grass and then it says GRASS over it" logo for a shirt.
Anyone coming into the bus / train station can get a ride from me.
that's all I can think of right now. Can't wait!!!
